"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Parrish. We are in our 60’s and a couple of our kids and grandkids joined us. All of them liked this place!The villa was clean & located in a very quiet, walkable, newer subdivision. Sheri is the best host we’ve ever had and we’ve rented many times. She was very friendly, and responded to us very quickly whenever we had a question. She deserves 6 stars. We adored the lanai! We spent mornings there relaxing and watching the Florida birds. The kitchen had almost every appliance or utensil you would want, which we appreciated as we like to eat in. We had fun in the heated pool, on the water slides, & on the pickleball courts. We enjoyed fishing off the piers and so did our grandsons. Anna Maria Island is about a 45 minute drive, if you go early to beat bridge congestion. Otherwise, it can take a lot longer. We discovered Detweilers Market for delicious ice cream! Robinson’s Preseve is about thirty minutes away but worth visiting.Beaches, shopping & restaurants are all 30 minutes away, which may be the only downside to this rental. However, we think that was a small factor considering how amazing everything we were blessed to enjoy here. We hope to stay again sometime! "

"We had a wonderful time at Blue Heron House! The home is super clean and thoughtfully stocked with anything we needed. Communication with the host leading up to our stay was super easy and quick. We saw manatees and even a dolphin right from the dock. We used the fishing gear to catch several species of fish from the dock and went kayaking as well. If we are ever headed back to the Tampa area, this will be our next stay!"

"The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The outdoor space was very relaxing and quiet. A quaint little town and a real treasure!!"

"The cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. We sent photos to the property owner about the cleanliness with photos (including poop on the side of the toilet seat). We received an apology but no offer to clean or compensation. The sheets were stained and had hair in them so we had to wash them before we could sleep in them. The both trash cans were full with bags sitting beside them. If it was cleaner it would have been a great place to stay"

"As advertised. A delightful, well appointed place with great character and charm. We used it as a base for spring training games within an hour of the area. "

"Had parking for 2 vehicles. Clean, had a beautiful veiw of sunrise over river.dock was good size. Screened in porch was favorite place in the evening. The Host is the greatest,he was so friendly and helpful .made our stay enjoyable."

"Riverbend Retreat is a very relaxing and comfortable house. It is fully stocked with anything you would need to have a peaceful, relaxing stay. Although we didn’t take advantage of the kayaks, we did do some fishing which was a great way to spend the afternoon and evening. Even though it’s a secluded location, there is shopping and restaurants close by. We also spent some time at both E.G. Simmons County park which has a small beach and Little Manatee State Park which you can paddle to. Check in and check out was extremely easy. We really had no problems but when we did communicate with Sidney, he responded quickly! Definitely recommend it!"
