This was the first time that I've stayed in the Uvedale lodge.
This was the first time that I've stayed in the Uvedale lodge. It is spacious and has 2 bedrooms (1 double; 1 twin) and both are en-suite. The twin beds are spaced a good distance apart so there are no problems that you get in other caravans/lodges with twin beds where it is a tight squeeze between the beds. The Uvedale is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The lodge was located overlooking the small stream that flows through the site & there is furniture on the veranda to enjoy the sound of the babbling stream.

The Lodge (No 37) was located at the end of a cul-de-sac with beautiful views from the decking.
The Lodge (No 37) was located at the end of a cul-de-sac with beautiful views from the decking. Although we booked a dog friendly lodge we had no gate on the decking. The lodge itself was lovely and spacious, if I was to be picky some parts were becoming a bit dated eg bath panel swollen and mouldy in parts due to water damaged and the blinds needed a good dust, along with no hoover just a sweeping brush.Checkin was a breeze despite some horror stories on previous reviews, it was quick informative and staff were lovely and welcoming, so were the staff in the bar on an evening couldn’t do enough for you and the dogs! The site itself was lovely clean and well maintained and very quiet. So apart from a couple of niggles we would not hesitate to return and had a lovely break.

Lodge was clean and well equipped.
Lodge was clean and well equipped. Felt like there was plenty space. No complaibts.Only quibble is that it was closer to the neighbouring lodges that we thought it would be from the brochure descriptions. The front window of the lodge was also very close to the road/path. Perhaps this was just where our particular lodge was located (lodge 15). The option of pulling across some net curtains for more privacy would have been good. Not a major issue and we would definitely return.

Large unit.
Large unit. Good size rooms although the king size bed was too large for the way the bedroom was configured and it was a tight squeeze down the side even for a small person. There was a super large fridge freezer plus separate wine chilling unit. It would be useful if microwave dishes with lids could be provided along with basic supplies such as washing up liquid, cloths and surface sprays. The unit was warm. It was not possible to park next to this unit number 107 and it was, what some may consider a considerable walk from the car. The unit was warm and light although the balcony with outside furniture which needed cleaning was overlooked which isn't the case with all units. Each bedroom had it's own shower; and one had a bath as well.

This is the first time we’ve stayed in an Uvedale that allows dogs and as a family without dogs we probably won’t do that again. The property was generally quite clean but there were a few dog hairs here and there. Also found the bed sheets quite stained.
