"Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly and welcoming staff and lovely continental breakfast included in price. Plenty of on-street parking near the hotel and within walking disrance to.the main centre. Good value for money. Our only complaint was that the restaurant was not serving food in the evening as the chef was away. One of the reasons we had chosen the hotel was that it had a restaurant, and food choices nearby were limited unless walking some distance. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you "

"The food and the bar were excellent. Room was small but clean comfortable and adequate. Only complaint was low water pressure for the shower but that did not override the positives. The location was convenient for great golf and tourist attractions. I will go back the next time I am in the area."

"A great find within 15/20 mins of North Berwick. Couldn't fault the room which had huge bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower. Very comfortable stay. The menu in the pub is not extensive but everything we had was beautifully cooked and presented. The place was buzzing with locals and visitors on both nights we were there. Highly recommended"

"The best thing was sitting in the hot tub overlooking the North Sea & hearing the waves coming in & feeling the fresh sea breeze around our faces while our bodies were warm underwater!!! The evening meal was exceptional, the options, the quality & especially the presentation with taste to match. Breakfast was also lovely. No supplement for the more unusual options & good service too. Room was lovely, big, comfortable bed, both a bath & a shower. Well appointed. All in all a great stay for our anniversary. "

"The receptionists and other workers were very welcoming and professional and helpful and accomodating.I dont like the rule of the hotel about you cant bring outside food(cooked) like pizza and food in box etc., into your room.That is the worse rule you can have at a hotel without a proper explanation that makes sense.Was told guests complain about the smell.That cant be.Because if a restaurant is on property,how does that explanation make sense.If one is worried about rats and cockroaches etc.,then the hotel needs to make sure they have people who clean the rooms properly and deep clean the hotel a couple times per year.I was most disappointed in that rule as I have been many countries all over the world and I have never heard nor encountered that rule before.However the hotel is at a good location,church across the road,restaurant down the road like 1 minute walk,walk for maybe 10 minutes and get into town with many options for restaurants etc.Reliable cab called JT Taxis is great.Bus system is in town to take you to places like Edinburgh etc.This has been the best experiences at a Hotel I have had in the UK and I've been to many in the UK.My only disappointment is the food issue.They even gave me a packed lunch 5 am when I was checking out because I would miss breakfast.Their breakfast is amazing by the way."
