"Very disappointing experience. Before our stay, I emailed the property to ask if the rooms had air conditioning because we were traveling during very hot weather. I never received a response.
When we arrived, we spoke with the front desk staff, and they confirmed that the property does not have air conditioning. Because of this, we could not stay there. We even had lunch at the property’s restaurant while discussing the situation, and we believed our reservation would be canceled.

"Overall a very nice stay. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Hotel was quiet at night which we appreciated. Breakfast was good and restaurant staff were friendly. Decor was nice. Very conveniently located to train station and to the town highlights.
They are strict about not getting your room before check-in at 3 pm which can be inconvenient depending on arrival schedules. There is no mini-fridge in the room nor a safe.
We would definitely stay here again."
"What a fabulous place to stay, away from the hustle bustle but comfortably walking distance to the town, amazing view, amazing staff, amazing selection of local wines and a good breakfast, if I am ever back in Cochem (certainly will be) there is no question of where we are staying, Hotel Vie Villa, loved it."
"A pleasant hotel with free parking. Slightly let down by lack of a proper bar (although some drinks are available after hours) and a torn curtain in the room. The bed and bathroom were great though, and there’s an hourly bus service if you don’t fancy walking back from the town centre. Overall a good choice for Cochem and the surrounding area."
