"Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken so were not new. Also they provide fresh milk in a fridge in the reception area which is really nice but the one I had which was well in date was sour so I think the fridge was not cold enough. Also the ice machine was not working. I did mention this to the reception and it was all rectified immediately. Also the hand wash and shower gel bottles in our room were empty but I brought my own so that was fine. I would suggest that housekeeping do a more thorough check on these things in the future as it is little things like this that can let a lovely hotel like this down. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and excellent staff. Although we had a few small problems we would definitely stay here again as the standard is very high. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Woodpecker Cottage. The cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful, with amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and helpful and even helped us out of the snow. Overall, it was a perfect escape, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

"Perfect base for visiting the delights of the north west. Blackpool just 30mins away and the Lake District or Lancashire just a little further. However plenty of great places locally so don’t have to travel far. Forest of bowland is a delight!The cottages at Cross keys inn are comfortable, well equipped and very clean. My favourite place to stop in the area"

"The property is located in the Lancashire countryside with walking from the doorstep and outdoor space including a large enclosed garden and a shared play area. We are regular Xmas visitors because the open plan ground floor with 2 seating areas the dining area and the kitchen makes a perfect location for our family get together. The cottage is well equipped, warm and roomy and the owners could not be more accommodating."

"Stayed with friends - 4 adults. Very comfortable with lots of space. Bedrooms were amazing, both en-suite. Kitchen/dining/utility area was immaculate and well equipped. Lounge was large and airy with patio doors to a small outside area. Beautiful inside and out and very peaceful. Owner was lovely - left fresh eggs, biscuits etc. We definitely will return and highly recommend"
