"Lovely quiet hotel with very spacious rooms. Tom and Maureen were very gracious hosts and we will definitely be staying there again. Very clean space and ample parking. "
Oakshaw Guesthouse - Cozy Single Room in a Central Location. Room 4
6/10 Okay
"I cannot fault anything that the owners had direct control over such as the room and facilities within the room. However, having shared bathroom facilities meant the possibility of noise at any time and also some of the guests had no respect for others including having rows and arguments at any time during the night."
Oakshaw Guesthouse - Cozy Double Room in a Central Location. Room 3
4/10 Poor
"Once we were dropped off by our taxi on the street, we knew it was not a good area. The taxi guy warned us to be careful due to it being the roughest neighborhood in the area. I genuinely did not feel safe. The small alley/street we walked up to get to the entrance was lined with trash and shady characters. The halls and building smelled so strongly of smoke. Loud doors shutting off and on all night. The bathroom was so gross. No hot water for showers. Beard hair all in the sink from someone else shaving and leaving it. Gunk in the corners. Loud music. It was clear this was a party area. "
