"We absolutely loved our stay at the Royston. We both opted in for the 3 course dinner and the food was excellent. Worth staying in a wet Welsh evening. We really appreciated how as a dog friendly establishment they cater for our dog. Treats in a room and lots of fuss. Lovely small touches like fresh homemade cookies in the room , great full cooked fry up in the morning. Great sized room , with en suite . "

"We couldn't believe it when we arrived as we were so looking forward to a well deserved break and relax .but we found our accommodation to be a nightmare . The place was not what was advertised. It smelled musky and it clearly hadnt been cleaned ,the kitchen was not what was advertised, dirty pits,pand and cutlery. The carpets were dirty. And then to find our beds with mouse droppings on was the last straw.my family were in tears "

"It was a very relaxing, peaceful and calming stay. The host was great. It was very pet friendly and the boys loved exploring the garden. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The log fire was great, firelighters and logs were provided. If you love being out in the countryside then this is the place for you. "

"This is a lovely place to stay, a hidden gem. My only comment would be that we did object to some banging the door and trying to get in at 8:30 this morning. Then as we wouod packing up to leave at around half 10, the same bloke was sat leaning against the front window. Told us he was waiting to clean the place! Him aside we enjoyed our stay"
