  • This cozy cabin is nestled just off the main street. Furnished with log furniture built right here from the Lincoln National Forest. Bedding includes log twin bunk beds. The perfect place for downtown shopping/eating as well as experiencing the outdoors and taking the road less traveled! We hope you enjoy your stay here in the mountains! Be sure to read the book to understand the reason behind the name of this cozy cabin which has been named Wynken since the early 1900s!

Cozy and Comfortable

The cabin is located in a beautiful community on a mountain top. Breathe taking drive; great restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the stay and would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Cozy cabin close to town

This cabin was perfect for me and my husband to spend a couple of nights. Downtown was 1 or 2 blocks and a short drive to the golf course was an even better!! Cabin was clean and cozy.

Overall, it's a good stay, both in terms of location and facilities. The only negative comment is the check-out time. It's too early, considering the price. It would be nice if you could stay until 24 hours after check-in.

I loved the fact that they had supplies as far as for the coffee, utensils, pots, pans and even some board games! Just a great place all around! I give it a two 👍👍/5 ⭐️

For one person it was great. Clean and well organized. It took a little while to warm up but once it did it was cozy. The beds could use a thicker mattress and more blankets for cold weather. The only big problem was the tiny toilet. It was as small as one found in a kindergarten classroom. Over all the gabin was good

Too small for our comfort.

It was clean and well maintained. Location was convenient. Bed situation was inconvenient. Can only enter bed on one side. Bunk bead is over 3/4 of the bed. Wooden ladder location is inconvenient for people getting out of lower bed. If a person needs to go to the bathroom both people have to get up.

Awesomeness - Please Read

This little house was cozy and a lot of fun. Way cleaner then many places we have stayed at. The towels smelled fresh. Many books and games available. Great location. Across the street from all the main restaurants and stores in Cloudcroft. Everything here was very close to perfect for the exception of the mattress, which was killing my back, (I have a back issue, and that was about the worst mattress I ever slept on. Probably good for most people) and the fan was very dusty. When we turned it on, we had dust bunnies flying all over. But all in all we had a phenomenal experience, and I would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed it.
