Amazing place that feels like home

From the stunning location to the charming interior decor, this cabin is absolutely beautiful! It’s well-equipped with everything you could need and offers plenty of space. While the downstairs area got a bit chilly, the bedroom with the bunk beds had an electric heater that kept it warm and cozy. It was the perfect family getaway!

Family vacation

This house was amazing! Cozy and comfortable. Home away from home for sure. The kids loved the game room even just for them to hang out and watch movies. The view was so pretty especially in the morning, 10 outta 10 would definitely stay here again.

Solid option when staying in cloudcroft

This place is better than it looks in the photos. Clean and modern but still has the cabin charm. It’s all the way at the top of the hill so makes for a quiet place with lots of wildlife. Good access to hiking and bike trails as well!

Perfect home and location

We spent a wonderful 3 nights with perfect accommodations for 6 adults (2 couples and 2 singles). The home was so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of places to walk in the “neighborhood “ with visits from deer including spotted fawns. Highly recommend this home.

Cozy, fun, peaceful

This is a great cabin at a beautiful location. Everything was organized and clean when we arrived, and it was both easy to get to it and to check in. We got to see wild horses and deer, and enjoyed being outside by the terrace. But equally enjoyable was being inside with a large group of friends. From ping pong to sitting watching a movie, this cabin accommodated us perfectly. The top bunker wasn't too comfortable for an adult, but also not terrible.

Great mountain escape for the a family

What a great stay! We loved the space to stretch out and relax in. The kids had a great time downstairs while we played cards upstairs. Quiet coffee on the porch in the morning was this mama's dream. So glad there were 3 bathrooms and not a lot of stairs🙌 Can't wait to book again!

Summer Vacation

We vacationed here with two families in June of 2024. Coming from Texas it was a nice break from the heat. House was clean, great location, and nice size for two families with 7 total kids. Neat little mountain town. Would highly reccomend.

We came for a family reunion. Wonderful, beautiful, excellent property! We had the best time. Property is beautiful! Neighborhood was wonderful. We spent a lot of time on the porch in rocking chairs just soaking in the cool mountain air. And feeding the deer. Will definitely return!

Piece of paradise

This property was amazing. Perfect for our family gathering of 9. Everyone was comfortable and it offered enough privacy and especially bathrooms. The daily deer visits were amazing. And we had a blast down stairs in the game room. Everything was awesome.

Excellent peaceful “big” home with balcony and downstairs play room and bedroom.

We had a “great “ stay. If you want peace and quiet with Cloudcroft only 5 to 10 minutes away, this is the place to be, why heck, you can just stay in this house and not go anywhere (wouldn’t quite suggest that ) but too much to see and do. When they say that it can accommodate up to 12 people, they mean it!!! Plenty of space!! Loved it!….Dan

Family Reunion Away

This was one of two houses rented during the same trip for a large family reunion. The location and outdoor patio provide stunning views of the forest and mountains. There is great outdoor space for playing grilling star gazing. Very conveniently located for privacy but also access to town quickly. The game room was a great place to hang out because it has access to the exterior area where you can set up the grill or outdoor fireplace. I will be renting this location again!!

Wonderful Winter Getaway for family time!

We had an amazing time! Our children are ages 7 to 22 and they all enjoyed it! There was something fun for everyone. The cabin is beautiful and covered all our needs. The communication with the owners was fast and thorough. We did have an issue trying to leave during the winter storm and Amber was quick to help and respond. I’d recommend a vehicle with 4WD bc once the winter storm hit, my SUV was dead in the water trying to make it up and down the inclines. The location couldn’t have been any better, beautiful views and so many deer met us each morning. We loved it and will be back!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We visit Cloudcroft with our family every year and decided to stay at this cabin this year. The property is gorgeous with amazing mountain views and clean crisp mountain air. We were visited every day by deer and elk and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the balcony. The house is fully appointed with every thing that you might need for your vacation. The game room downstairs is nice to have with families that want to play pool or ping pong. There are so many beds so this house is a great choice for large families or families that want to bring friends. We can't wait to come again next year!

Perfect home to host a family

This home was perfect for our family getaway to the mountains. Ages ranged from 1-83 and we had zero complaints about the property. Downstairs has a game room and down the hall from that was a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to cook. I only had to reach out to the property owners once and Amber was very quick to get back to me. I would highly recommend this home.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We loved staying here! We lucked out and it snowed so we got to ski/snowboard Friday and Saturday with the entire mountain open. The house was perfect for our family of 7! Very clean, they had the driveways cleared before we got there which was a great bonus. There were lots of sleds for the front and back yard and we sat on the porch in the afternoon and watched the kids play til dark! They had to share the yard with all of the cute fluffy deer that would come through in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen was nicely stocked. We cooked a couple times but also enjoyed going to town and eating at the brewery! The food at ski cloudcroft was also yummy!! Overall we had an excellent time and will definitely stay here again!

This property had everything we needed and more. The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. We were a party of 9 ranging from 15 year old to 60s. The younger crowd loved hanging downstairs in the game room. They played ping pong and watched movies. The bunk room was perfect for them as well. We all had plenty of space. We loved seeing deer and even horses! There were 2 different types of coffee pots, which I appreciated because we don’t love Keurig coffee. Also had a tea kettle. The town was adorable. Some of our crowd was gluten free so Kennabelle’s Bakery on Burro St. was amazing with several options. We went there most days of our stay. Oh and Black Bear Coffee, the burrito truck and Mad Jack’s barbecue were amazing! I could go on and on.

The perfect place

This cabin is the perfect place for a family getaway. The cabin was pristine and felt comfy. The game room provided the space we needed to unwind and forget all about our electronic devices. Everything you could need was in the cabin; towels, shampoo, soap, pots, pans, hot cocoa. The rooms were warm and the beds were comfortable. We woke up to a family of deer waiting to greet us every morning. Honestly, we didn't want to leave. The only hiccup we experienced was getting to the cabin on the first evening. The forecast called for 1 to 3 inches of snow, it ended up being much more than that. We could not get our cars up the mountain to the cabin. We watch a lot of cars try to make it up the mountain only to slide back down. Luckily we were helped out by a couple of super friendly and helpful folks who got us there. (shout out to Travis and Tito!!) So I will say, if there is going to be a lot of snow or frozen roads, you do need 4-wheel drive, or chains on the tires. My Nissan Versa couldn't do it, neither could my dad's Toyota Tundra. My mom's 4-wheel 4-runner did make it up. The Turnbow's did have someone at the property bright and early plowing the driveways, that was wonderful of them. I highly recommend this space to reconnect with loved ones and nature. I plan on going back!
