Beautiful home with a well stocked kitchen. Great location. Only up grades I’d recommend would be new recliners and cleaning the master bedroom carpet.
I would stay here again, as would the rest of my group.
This property was beautiful and provided everything we needed for a fabulous family vacation. There was games, ping pong, foosball - our 5 yr old grandson said he never wanted to leave. The pool and rec center were spectacular too. Host Brooke was very responsive to all our needs (very few) and questions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beautiful property! House had everything you could ask for. Kids had so much fun, ping pong, hot tub, loads of games for a rainy day! Can’t wait to book for the holidays. Brooke took great care of every request I had. Thank you Brooke!!!!
Upscale mountain retreat with great access to adventure
I and my dear friend's family, including spouse, two children and two friends of the children had a wonderful gathering in the spacious, well provisioned and wi-fi connected residence. We enjoyed adventures to the surrounding lake areas with great hikes and dips in the water, lunching, then returning to the resort to relax or visit the Altitude recreation center accommodating many types of activities, as well as food service. I enjoyed the place by myself for the second half of my stay, dining at the resort restaurant, Fifty44, twice with excellent cuisine and service. Both prior, during and after my stay, Manager Brooke Parent was interested in how things were going and helped expedite arrangements for resort access as the configuration of the guests that joined me
changed. Thanks so much!
We booked this property for our team to stay at during our mastermind event at Nakoma resort.
Brooke was so kind and very communicative with anything we needed! She has an organized binder with all of the information you may need regarding the property and area.
We really enjoyed the hot tub and bottle of wine!
The game room above the garage was a pleasant surprise—We used the futon as an additional bed allowing us to sleep 8 people comfortably.
We did cram 3 men into the small room with a bunk and trundle which they probably didn’t think was ideal, but it worked great, because they didn’t have to share beds! 😂
This would be a great vacation home for 3 families to share with 3 couples and 3-6 kids.
We loved the place. Two problems: we were not told about the “no shoes indoors” until the night before which was an issue for my mother who wears an ankle brace and has to wear shoes to cover that brace- this was problematic to take shoes off and on and get around without the stability of her shoes. If we had more time we possibly could have made accommodation for her. We also did not get the WiFi code until day two which caused my son to go into massive apoplexy ( ) maybe have that available upon entry as to not ignite tween children and save parents their hearing.. the house was amazing and the club was gorgeous. Will you be putting chairs outside for summer on the deck? It would have been great to have chairs outside to sit on around the spa and deck- I am nit picking- the place it great!!! If this were my house and I wanted to keep it up I would want to know this: the shower curtains in 1st bathroom are too short and the water will run out of basin if person is not careful and cause water damage in the long run. The window in the master bath doesn’t lock and can be used to get in. As guests- we loved the house, as an owner, I would want to know if my house can be damaged. Hope this helps!! Love the place tho!!!
Had a Wonderful experience with family. Wanted a place big enough to accommodate three families, close to wedding venue. Beautiful house and surrounding area. Nice and quiet with all the amenities we needed and things we hadn't even thought of...
Artfully Designed Home for a Great Family Experience
Well appointed, equipped and provisioned home that contributes to an enjoyable experience for the whole family, regardless of age. The home's design is an homage to the architectural features of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright found in other structures in the Nakoma Resort.
Convenient as the property was right up the street from my Brother and Sister in laws house. We were there for a Wedding. Right on the Golf Course and close to all of the Wedding events.
My family of seven stayed at this home over memorial day weekend for my birthday. The home was very comfortable for all of us including two children. The property was clean and well stocked and very spacious. We love the Nakoma Resort and the Altitude Fitness Center and pool. The climbing wall was a huge bonus for my six year old granddaughter. Great communication with the property manager who is very responsive and helpful. We will definitely return for another visit in the future.
This house was the perfect accommodation for my group. We had married couples and singles, and there was appropriate space for all of us. The spacious kitchen had all the tools we needed to prepare meals, and sit as a group to enjoy them. The living room furniture was so comfy, we spent much of our down-time relaxing by the fireplace! Four of us enjoyed our last night in the hot tub while it snowed! What more could we ask for! We would definitely stay here again!
Our family of six adults and two children enjoyed a week's stay at Luxe Lodge. The home was very comfortable, and there was enough room for everyone to spread out. The setting was beautiful. We enjoyed exploring the area. . It was most peaceful. Everyone had a great time at Altitude (the recreation center). What we all really appreciated was the fact that the resort was not crowded with people (unlike Tahoe this time of year). Two of us had massages at the Wigwam which was so relaxing. All in all, a wonderful stay.
We want to come back next year.

My family and I recently spent a great weekend at this property. There were 6 adults and 4 children. We enjoyed sledding, and use of the rec facility, especially the private movie theater and rock climbing wall. Communication with the property manager prior to arrival, during check-in, and throughout the stay was perfect. She was very responsive and took care of everything we needed. Some hihglights were that the spa was up to temperature upon arrival, the selection of board games in the TV cabinet, bunk bed for the kids, fireplace in the living space! There was an even unexpected game area setup in the garage. It was pretty cold out there due to it being the middle of the winter, but was warm enough for a couple games of ping pong and looks like there was an option for heat in the card room above the garage. We all had a great experience and would recommend this for small to medium sized groups.
We booked this beautiful home for a family reunion over the 2021 Christmas holiday. We had three (3) households coming together along with three (3) dogs and this property worked out perfectly for us. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and even had a table set out for us. We had lots of questions and Brooke, the property manager, was always very responsive and accommodating. She even went to the home and turned on the lights for us when we ran into a winter storm and were not able to check in on time despite asking to be able to check in early, which she was more than willing to accommodate. During the winter months, the driveway is plowed (a must) and the optional tickets to the Alpine Rec Center was a great bonus. Brooke was very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile for us, she left extra blankets and pillows, checked up on us regularly, let us check in early and check out late due to the Christmas winter storm of 2021. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property, be it for a weekend getaway or a week retreat with the family, this home can't be beat.
We rented this place to celebrate my 50th birthday. We loved the location and we all had a blast at Altitude at Nakoma Resort!! Our property manager was fantastic!! We had a few issues with the garbage can having an awful odor and the hot tub was not working correctly. Could only use the hot tub once. The property manager came and cleaned the garbage can out. Can not express enough about the property manager! Cheers to 50 years was a success!!
Lovely house with nice location on #16 tee box. Communication with property manager was easy & excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and going to the resort club. Dinner at fifty 44 was excellent. And dog friendly was a bonus. Hope to return next summer.
We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was well appointed with TVs, games, and access to an amazing recreation center. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again!
Had 8 adults stay for 3 nights. We cooked every meal but one at the house and had everything we needed. Brooke was awesome to work with. Hoping we can do it again next year!
This is our second time renting a home in Nakoma..and the home was wonderful! Our family of 4 (and dog) enjoyed the home and outdoor spaces and close proximity to the Lakes Basin. Also, use of the Nakoma pool and resort. Brooke, the property manager, exceeded our expectations and was quick and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
