"We went for an extended weekend getaway. We were extremely happy with the room, it was nice and spacious. The pool area was super clean and nice. We would definitely go back. The only thing we didn’t like was that the coffee in the cafe was $4 and super weak but the lobby had free coffee that was stronger. Super weird! Otherwise is was amazing"

"This was my first time at the Penn Stroud. I went with my sister who is in a wheelchair. There was not an ADA room but the hotel and room were big enough to accommodate her. It was clean and comfortable. We got clean towels, etc as needed. Parking was onsite and private plus at no cost so it was convenient. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Stroudsburg so it is convenient to all of the quaint downtown shops and restaurants. Our favorite employee was Cantrese, who worked at the front desk. She was so polite, kind, and thoughtful. She helped me with my sister’s wheelchair several times and sat with my sister when I had to quickly run to our room. She deserves an award and a raise. Next time I’m in the area, I plan to stay at the Penn Stroud. They are doing some remodeling but it’s being down with minimal interruptions to guests."

"The staff were helpful & very pleasant. We also dined at the buffet , it was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. The pool & hot tub was well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The nature hike was also Beautiful. Highly recommend. The Inn is Quaint & step back in time vibe."
