"We loved our recent stay at The Homestead! During our stay my husband played golf twice, I enjoyed the pool and spa, we both loved the rocking chairs on the porch and evening fires. The resort is gorgeous and staff warm and inviting. We had all meals on site and the food was delicious! A luxurious and delightful stay."

"Cute place, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. You should know the restaurant and bar is closed Monday and Tuesday aside from breakfast. Dinner options in the area are limited except for 5 mi south in nearby Hot Springs town and Omni Homestead Hotel restaurant which was fabulous. The inn is located across the street from famous historic bath houses. Very cool place. Extra points for heated bathroom floors.We would stay there again for sure!"

"We had a quick 1 night stay. Good price. Great breakfast and breakfast area. Plenty of parking. Nice staff. Room was a little humid/musty but served it's purpose. "

"The Gin Hotel is a beautifully refurbished "Grand" Hotel in a small Virginia town. Located on Main Street in downtown Lexington, it is two blocks from Washington and Lee University and five blocks from the Virginia Military Institute. Lexington's Main Street has been reinventing itself each year over the fifty-five years since I graduated from W&L and it is now populated with unique shops, craft stores and restaurants. The hotel is quiet, clean and well maintained. Unlike when I was in Lexington in the late 1960s, the town is ringed with the usual collection of mid-level hotel chains. These are all fine hotels but ones like these can be found in virtually every town in the US. Staying in historic downtown Lexington (for the same price) is so much more fun!"

"Room very clean. Neat older refurbished facility. Staff excellent. Had 3rd floor room …took the hot water a good while to reach the room…and drain was S-L-O-W…but just added to the nostalgia. Would stay again. "
