The hotel is very outdated and dirty, it doesn't look like they do any maintenance or cleaning of anything. The wallpaper was pealing off the walls in the room, the windows were disgusting inside and out, the shower curtain had a stain and was ripped. Everything was dirty! Had to pay $20 for a breakfast that looked and tasted like it should have been complimentary. It definitely was not worth the amount we paid to stay there!!!

The breakfast was a $22 buffet and was not as good as many free breakfast buffets at other hotels. The restaurant was actually the bar and it didn’t open until 4:30. The food was quite good. My complaint is that there was nowhere to eat lunch. There was a very convenient shuttle that would take you anywhere you wanted to go within a 1 mile area. However I was new to the city and didn’t know what was in the area. I would have liked more information about the shuttle ahead of time so I could have planned better.

Upon entering main lobby, there is an odd odor. It might be cleaning chemicals, laundering, or pesticides. Not so noticeable later as we got used to it. Additionally, many areas are poorly cleaned or maintained. Dust and dirt in the elevators and hall carpeting. Staff was attentive and friendly. I was surprised that a Hilton facility so vital to the local tourism was so worn and unkept.

For a supposed nice property, the hotel overall felt older and a tad dingy. The parking lot and rooms could really use an update and some polish. however, it appears the cleaning staff do the best they can given the property condition. Location is good for R&R hall of fame, Guardians Game, etc; but the area isn't really walkable and enjoyable at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

In all honesty, the hotel is in dire need of a refresh. The walls are weathered and lightly stained, the room smelled musty, the comforter on the bed had a black spackled stain on it, the window curtain was half broken, and there were noticeable patches on the ceiling that had clearly been patched over from previous leaks. This isn't the fault of the staff at all, who were all incredibly pleasant and doing their best, but the hotel itself has quite simply and honestly seen better days. I hope a renovation is in the plans.

This place was absolutely vile and disgusting. Rude staff who ignore you, rooms not cleaned. Bottom of the bathtub was black. Rated 8 star? A motel would’ve been better than this place and Expedia has been no help. Waste of money, couldn’t sleep in the filthy room. And staff bothered us an hour before check out time and waited around the door until we left. Uncomfortable all around.

I booked a room with 1 King bed and a lake view. When I checked in, the first thing the desk clerk told me "I don't have a King-size bed, is 2 Queens ok?" I said "Ma'am, can I just have the room I booked?" I got the King-sized bed, but not the water view. Only one of my two key cards worked on my room door or in the attached parking garage (parking was $30 per day). They don't clean the room unless you request that they xlean the room. The $18 breakfast buffet had powdered eggs and the food was terrible. The server was wearing a wrinkled shirt. The parking garage elevator had broken buttons on the 2nd floor. There was no body wash in my room. The Doubletree cookie at check in was underbaked. I paid way too much money for what i received. The pictures on their website of the rooms did not match the room i stayed in.

The stay wasn’t horrible but definitely wasn’t as good as it has been previous years. My husband and I go every year, and this year just wasn’t the best. The first shift shuttle driver was rude most of the time when driving or asking for a ride and was just unprofessional. The woman we dealt with at the front desk was nice, but would literally tell us to “hold on” while we were in the middle of asking her questions so she can finish texting on her phone. The breakfast buffet prices were ridiculous and the front hostess for it was a little rude as well almost making fun of the clothes I was wearing saying things like “I’m trying to decide if I like it or not.” Just overall was not happy with the experience this year and the employees should have their attitudes checked.
