  • With views from the garden reaching across the fells, it is a great space to enjoy the stunning views with a morning coffee. It’s located in the Lake District National Park, within 7 miles of the coast and less than half a mile from the village of Ennerdale Bridge, where you will find lovely country pubs and a coffee shop. Ennerdale Water, the most westerly lake is less than 2 miles away, it is a great place to escape even in the middle of summer with crystal clear water and forest walks. You are free to explore the land around the farm and enjoy a walk down to the River Ehen. On a sunny day, visit the coastal town of St Bees (7 miles), take a walk along the promenade or relax on the sandy beach. For the more adventurous, visit Go Ape at Whinlatter (17 miles) or take on Catbells (26 miles) or Kinniside Stone Circle (1.5 miles) where, on a clear day, you can see Scotland and the Isle of Man.

    The property provides a warm welcome, and walking into the hallway you will find a handy utility room to your right which has storage for your walking boots and coats. Across the hallway, you will find the lounge with a high ceiling and lovely French doors which open onto a patio, perfect on a summer evening. On cooler evenings, enjoy the cosy wood burner, curl up in front of the Smart TV and watch a good movie. The ground floor has attractive stone flooring and high ceilings giving the property a real contemporary feel. You will find a bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room and the pièce de resistance, which is the perfect space to host a special gathering and catch up as a family in the kitchen. It is bright and spacious with bi-folding doors which allows you to bring the outside in – this room really is special, overlooking the garden and woodland it offers you the peace and tranquillity to relax and switch off, you really will find it hard to tear yourself away from this room. There is a beautifully designed bathroom one step up off the hallway from the kitchen with a bath and separate shower. Heading up to the first floor from the hallway you will find the second bedroom, this room has limited head space due to the eaves, however, it is designed with thought and style and has an en-suite shower room.

    There is a garden with a patio and access directly into a pretty woodland and there is an enclosed field at the end of the garden for dogs to run around.
