"Really wonderful overnight retreat for us, with a newborn baby. A big welcome on arrival, accommodating staff, a wonderful setting for a delicious meal (with a refreshingly paired down menu), and most of all extremely comfortable and quiet room. An excellent stay. "

"Loved this historic hotel! They did a good job maintaining the integrity of this wonderful building! Yes… the bathroom is small (remember… historic building) but all was in good working condition! Lots of light, comfy bed & pillows, a nice touch with coffee & sweet breads delivered to your room… it made our stay enjoyable! Also loved the pool/hot tub area! Wish we had more time to enjoy it! The only thing is that they need more outlets in the room. Even just lamps with charging options… We look forward to our next stay! "

"My room was clean and comfortable. My room rate was above what was quoted due to an issue with my confirmation number not showing up. So I was hit with a higher rate, despite the hotel seeing my reservation. I was also disappointed in having to pay a parking fee. Other than that it's a nice hotel, good location."

"Beautiful time of the year to stay! We had excellent weather to enjoy the long weekend😁 providing a whole dog friendly room with large sheets to cover both queen beds! Friends stayed next door so we had joining rooms (a very pleasant surprise). Looking forward to our next stay there😆"

"FOH and F&B staff were great. Shout out to Alonzo and Jeff at Truss. Top notch. Disappointing that Auro ( Michelin star) is not open Sunday through Wednesday. Pool on Sunday, next to no service, had to put up umbrella and get towels. Kids pool for kids 1year -to 15 years is 30" deep and was 94 degrees. Asked if there was a problem with the heater , never got an answer. Asked if the kids could cool off in the other pool ( it was 84) steps and got the brush off. Watched the pool bartender make me a gin/tonic at the pool, he pours the gin and tonic water in a bare glass with no ice and hands it to me. I just laugh and tell him he forgot something. Ulisis was the pool manager on Monday , did a good job. The rooms are very nice. the downside for our family is that there are no double queen rooms, they are actually double beds. The queens would easily fit, I think the hotel owners ( not 4 seasons) are discouraging anyone with a family of 4 from staying at the hotel. For a couple, It's very nice. Not sure I'd go back with a family, given the bed and pool situation. Given the emptiness of the property, I think the customers are sending a message and management should listen. "
