"Parking was easy and right outside our room. The fridge/freezer was actually cold, which isn't always the case! Beds and pillows were very comfortable, but would have been nice to have a clock in the room. Also would have appreciated some directions for the cooling system. It's very conveniently located right on the main street in town. Edie, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. "

"The place was very nice and clean, but my room was very very tiny. It would be a okay room for one person but you would not want to put two people in their. Still it was a very friendly place and Shauna who I think is the owner was very helpful. Expedia screwed up my brothers reservation and I had to find him a place at another hotel and Shauna was a big help in accommodating our needs there. I would stay at the canoe on in again if I were by myself. Although I will say Shauna told me that they had much bigger rooms in their other building across the street."

"This cabin was cuter to see in person compared to the photos online. Host was fantastic with communication and thoughtful about my families needs. Cabin was clean with a well appointed kitchen. Lovely view of the lake and so peaceful. Glad we got to experience the Babbitt - Ely area and stay at this property."

"I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Northwoods Inn. It was clean & well maintained. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The room was spacious. Everything worked well from the a/c to the mini fridge. It was clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I just wish there was an elevator, as I was on the 2nd floor. The parking lot had plenty of spaces. The location was convenient to the grocery store across the street. Northwoods is just a short drive to Ely’s restaurants. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at Northwoods Inn."

The Nordico Point Cabin

"Nordic point was a cozy and peaceful getaway that served as a great alternative to our original Boundary Waters trip that had been canceled due to the wildfires and the BWCAW. Terra was great with communications and the place was clean and matched the overall description for the property mostly. The only minor notes I would make relate to some smaller issues that we noticed in our weekend stay. The grill outside is nearing complete failure, but I was able to make it function for the one time we used it. The property lists air conditioning, but it is very minimal wall unit in the one bedroom. Thankfully, the weather was cool enough most days to manage without it, but had it been any warmer or more humid, the limited air movement for the cabin would have made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. Again, these were all somewhat minor issues and we truly did enjoy our time at Nordic Point, but wanted to note these items as the price point for the stay is high enough to keep me from giving it a full five stars on every single category, so I noted just four on the pricing."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property!We had a group of 11, 4 adults and 7 children. The water is clear and we loved fishing, hunting crawdads, boating and swimming to the small island offshore. The space was perfect at for the group with how the bedrooms were spaced out and the living rooms had a nice cross breeze. All amenities were perfect for a peaceful getaway - easy and inviting place! Loved the coffee brewer. They have a nice mini pontoon and we rented a large pontoon from a local boat club which was great to explore. Loons and eagles were incredible and saw some black bear in the area. If we get up this way again we will stay here no doubt. Thanks Odessa!"
