Good basic motel

This is a good basic motel. It’s been freshly painted with updated floors moldings. It’s very clean. There’s no elevator. The HVAC is noisy and you can hear the road traffic in front. No breakfast but there’s a good diner within walking distance.

I came in really late from the Bay Area and needed a hotel for the night/morning. Staff was very kind and the check-in was a breeze, and was given a later check out due to the time we arrived. I would most stay again and again.

I really liked this hotel. First off, the service was great. The room was very clean and modern, even with usb outlets for charging your devices.... AND THEY ACTUALLY WORK. The wifi was decent with a 17 mbps download and 18 mbps upload. Tested with ookla and it said it should support 2160p (4K) streaming. I really liked the regular style drip coffee machine. The area around the hotel felt very safe and quiet even though the highway (CA 20) is right there. Overall I definitely like this hotel and highly recommend it. This place is going to be our go to now while in the clearlake area.
