We had an amazing stay even though we had a last minute location change due to the recent storm. Amanda and her husband were top notch and so helpful and kind. We will 100% stay with them again.
The property is hidden away in the mountains, with amazing views. Well appointed, comfortable beds, extra pillows/blankets, a great open plan with games to play and a beautiful deck to enjoy. The six of us had plenty of space to enjoy our stay!

Beautiful cabin, quiet and secluded. Very close to Clayton for shopping and restaurants. Lovely fire pit area. Everything you could possibly need is furnished.
We loved the cabin and enjoyed our visit. Everything was wonderful including the comfortable bed that I wanted to take home. Haha. We look forward to visiting again, the town of Clayton was great to see as well.
We enjoyed every moment of our time here. It is very private and offered fantastic views with our morning coffee and evening cocktails.
Amanda was wonderful and did a great job communicating to ensure we had everything we needed.
We look forward to coming back!
My sister and I stayed at Fox Trot cabin a few days and we were amazed at the cleanliness of the cabin and how well stocked it was, the location was perfect, the view was awesome, the accommodations were well planned for visitor's needs. It was definitely Five Star and I would give it a TEN if I could.

Fabulous family vacation
This is a beautiful property. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I had my morning coffee out on the porch with a perfect view of the blue ridge mountains. There was plenty of room for our family of six to hangout together, and enough to escape for some quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed, even an electric kettle and everything for s’mores. We are already planning to return next year.
We decided to do a last minute Mountain getaway before schools started and were lucky to find Camp Fox Trot. From the time of confirming the booking to our check-out the experience could not have been any better. Amanda’s communication was phenomenal, the house was better than described and her recommendations for dinners were amazing. We are
Already planning our return visit. Thank you again

Can't Beat the View at Camp Fox Trot
We booked an extended stay and didn't want to leave. It was amazing to wake up every morning to a beautiful view while having coffee on the large back deck. The gas fireplace in the cozy living area was enjoyed daily during the Jan. cold. Amanda was always responsive and the home included many small details and was well-stocked.
We greatly appreciated these special touches as we often used the kitchen to cook, and entertained ourselves with the available board games. We hope to come back again!
This house was perfect for our family (three couples). We had a very restful weekend. The house was clean and exactly what was advertised. No problems at all. Beds were very comfortable, great water pressure, nice workable kitchen. Loved the deck and view. Close to all of our favorite fishing holes up the Talullah River. The only problem was that the weekend went by way too fast!
I will say it was a great experience and a quiet get away. I had no issues with anything and communication with the owner was excellent. The view was awesome! I will say, if you have a two wheel drive be careful it’s on a steep incline. But I had a two wheel drive and as long as you put your vehicle in first gear and don’t have bold tires you should be fine. Over all great place!

This property is as advertised. Incredible views, clean and a beautiful home. Every window has a view. We enjoyed the back deck in the mornings, the secluded road for a walk with friend's in the afternoon, and by friends, I mean the neighbors dogs. What a lovely treat. Then we enjoyed the fire pit and indulging on the provided s’mores fixings, in the evenings. There’s a lot of beautiful nature all around, there was no reason to leave. Although the area has an abundance of things to do and see, we enjoyed the house the best.
Thank you so much!
I stayed in the cabin with my wife and 3 children. We arrived late at night and getting inside the caving was wonderful. Easy to find the way, clean and beautiful house.
The morning was… more than beautiful, the cabin has the most beautiful view of the woods with trees in front of you displaying perfect fall colors and the most peaceful scenery to enjoy a good morning coffee.
The cabin is fully equipped and we had no problem trying to find whatever we needed during our stay.
The hostess made sure we were comfortable and ok by checking with us by email during our stay.
Close to great hiking trails.
My family and I recently stayed at the beautiful Camp Fox Trot Cabin. When you arrive you will immediately notice the cabin is absolutely gorgeous and inviting. My kids were so excited to check out the house and the fire pit area. The view from the porch and the upstairs bedroom were absolutely stunning. Our littlest guy (1 year old) could not get enough of the porch -the view is just breathtaking. The porch was large enough for enjoying a meal outside and still room for kids to play or relax on other chairs as well.
The cabin is just as beautiful inside. The kitchen was fully stocked with delicious tea and every tool we could possibly need. The host, Amanda, even had fun kids plates, cups, utensils, & bowls! The beds are extremely comfortable and you will want to bring it home with you. Every detail is perfect and well thought out.
There are sweet local dogs who come around to say hi. My kids (whole family) were sad to leave these new friends behind.
The location was perfect. Close enough to a grocery store, Main Street , and a gorgeous river. Tallulah River is right off the main road to the property, we highly recommend going! There was plenty to do around town but if you want to stay around the home you won’t regret that either.
The property is up a bit of a hill but it is paved until the driveway, which is still very easy to navigate. Amanda did a good job marking the property on the trees and provided great detailed directions. We highly recommend you stay here!
Highly recommend this cute house in the mountains. We had a blast staying here over the holiday weekend with my family. My kids enjoyed sleeping in the bunk bed and making s’mores at the fire pit. The host was welcoming and the house had everything we needed. If we ever make a trip back to Clayton, I will definitely be booking this house!
