Acorn One Lake Burton

The epitome of lakeside rentals, this home is spacious, casually elegant and fantastically appointed to enjoy all that lake life embodies. Featuring an open floor plan gourmet kitchen, stone fireplace, screened porch overlooking the water, lower level terrace, fire pit, and a boat house with boat slip, eating area, & sun deck. The house has tankless /instant hot water, heated tile floors, a gas generator, workout room, and sauna. This house has it all and is ideal for the most discerning of travelers.
Enjoy extra recreational activity in the shaded back yard with the recently installed pickle ball and basketball half court. The location on Dick's Creek is ideal for fishing so bring your rod and reel. Additional fun activities include: corn hole, games, puzzles, floats for hanging in the cool water, fully equipped kitchen to make those fabulous family meals, fire pit with string lights, exterior TV, and more.
The space.
The main floor has a fabulous living space w/ lovely views of the canal and a picturesque screened, grilling porch just off the open living area. A gourmet kitchen (Sub Zero, Wolf, Bosch), office, and spacious master suite complete the main floor. Downstairs are 3 additional bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a rec space complete with bar, workout room and sauna. Above the garage is a 5th bedroom suite with private bath. All full baths have radiant heated floors and the house has instant hot water + a tankless hot water heater. Double decker boat house on the water is just 50' from the house and has a private driveway for getting coolers and gear down to the lake easily. 2 full sized washer/dryers to accommodate guests available for use as well.

This home was amazing, the amenities were top notch, the workout room and basketball court were so fun. BUT the location is really tough. It was listed as a waterfront property, but it is really more of a creek. There is a boathouse, but we could not get our ski boat into the creek from the main lake. The creek was only about 2 feet deep and because our boat sucks in water to cool the engine, there was a lot of silt in the boat. We tried once and it was not possible. Also, the boathouse is quite small. The slip is only about 9 feet wide (we measured) making it pretty tight for a ski, wake, or pontoon boat - even if you could get one back there. You also can’t swim off the dock because again it is only 2 feet deep. While the house is lovely and the amenities were great, it really was not what we were looking for in a lake house.

Beautiful luxury lake home

This was by far and away one of the nicest VRBOs. The location and setup are perfect too. It felt like staying at 5 star hotel. We will definitely be renting again. The host was very easy to communicate with too. There was quality boat dock as well. My family loved it.
