We encountered a number of problems from inoperable room keys to broken electrical outlets. Staff were friendly and did their best to remedy these issues, but we ended up moving to a different near by hotel.

We did not stay at the Roadway Inn as we tried to cancel the 11th. We were moved to the Comfort Inn instead but were not told about the switch until arriving at Roadway Inn

The details of the hotel said continental breakfast and a pool. There was no breakfast one day, the next day they just had plain bagels, a few muffins and cereal with no milk. The pool was filled in with cement. The big problem was all the doors had the latches taped so no key card was needed to get in, I didn't feel very safe with anyone, at anytime could just walk into the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Remodiling Needed ASAP!
THIS HOTEL IS IN IMMEDIATE NEED OF REMODELING AND REPAIR! IT HAS OLD OUTDATED CARPET, NO ELEVATOR, OLD BEDDING, OLD HAIR DRYER(S), ETC. THE T.V. DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, IT WAS A SHORTAGE IN THE ELECTRICAL CORD. THE FACEPLATE ON ONE OF THE WALL SOCKETS WAS MISSING, THE THERMOSTAT WOULD NOT SET CORRECTLY, THERE WAS NO TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM, THE FRONT LOWER HALF OF THE SINK FACING WAS BROKEN AND HANGING OFF, A BEER CAN WITH BEER IN IT WAS UNDER ONE OF THE BEDS AND THERE WAS GUM ON THE HEADBOARDS! THIS PLACE HAS GOT TO DO BETTER!

Good value for budget conscious travelers.
Provided the essentials for our stay of three nights. Breakfast was included. Temperature of the room was comfortable, mattress was comfortable, TV worked with lots of stations. Quiet at night with convenient parking. Room was spacious.

Very dark no lights on outside. Road sign not lit.
outside security doors busted, did not work, or broken completely.Several doors throughout hotel had broken door handles. hair dryer in bathroom shorted out during our stay and they had no spare or another room to move us to(fire hazard) wire was actually taped together and wire was exposed.the room was clean but the overall appearance of the hotel was very poor. I would not stay there again nor would i recomend anyone to stay here

Charged me for rooms i didn't stay in. Window didn
Problem after problem!!!!!!! Charged for unbooked rooms. Spider webs and dust in rooms. Glass doors to balcony latch was broken off so couldn't lock door. Cable didn't work. Wife and I bought cleaning supplies and towels for cleaning the room ourselves. Manager was unreachable!!! Nothing resolved!!!!!

Easy to get to a lot of activities and sites. Hotel is aged and a bit rough around the edges...perfect for an old Clarksdale feel.

I was in town for a music event and the hotel was sort of convenient to the festival site. however, I will not go there again. the hotel has seen better days and there were several items in disrepair, the sliding door to the "balcony" was missing the handle so there was a hole in the glass where it should have been, the bathroom lights worked intermittently, the tub seemed less than clean and there were holes in the wall there. I never went to the breakfast as the clerk had described it as pastry driven

Photos online misrepresented hotel.
Please do not stay here. I had reservations, but upon entering the lobby knew immediately I'd made a mistake. When I got to the room, I turned around, and left. I could not stay here. The odor was horrible. Everything was dated to the 70's. No updating, upkeep has been made her in a long time.

Well located to enjoy local music fest!
Very good value in my opinion....Room 123 was non smoking but had a funky smell (kind of like stale smoke) each time we entered after being outside. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Next door to excellent Mexican restaurant. Decent price.

King Biscuit Weekend
The room was okay but the beds had seen better days. The TV was the old console type and needed upgrading but there were plenty of channels to watch. The lobby was the best feature, but the pool had been filled in. Overall, the hotel needed a rehab, but for the money, it was adequate. Oh, and the nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoke.

I LEFT MY KINDLE FIRE IN THE HOTEL ROOM IN THE BED. I REALIZED IT AS SOON AS I REACHED MY NEXT DESTINATION I CALLED THE HOTEL AND WAS TOLD HOUSE KEEPING WAS GONE FOR THE DAY. I slept just as well at half the price. :-)
I am a small business owner & try to keep my expenses down. As I said I slept just as well at half the price as the motel up the street. My room was clean & the TV worked fine. An older motel but Cleanliness & Price are important to me. The desk clerk Marsha was very pleasant & helpful as well as the morning clerk & security guard.Would stay here again.

Decent place to stay
A one night stay during a road trip; the room did smell of old smoke but not too bad, and the bed was very comfortable. Neighbourhood is a little sketchy but we didn't have any trouble as it's right on the main street for the town so lots of businesses right there.

Room was comfortable, surprised it had an older TV and not a flat panel like most hotels. Also did not have fridge, which would have been handy. Only downside was our room was at far end of entrance and a long walk to the main door. There was a side door closer that we used and another even closer but it did not have key access so we could not go in or out that way. But the room was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, A/C was good.

Clean, cheap hotel
This visit was not extraordinary in either way, but the facility was clean. I was worried about my car, but nothing happened. We stayed there two nights. The bed was OK; I have back problems and need a very firm mattress. This bed was not too soft; at least I was able to rise each morning without stiffness. The sheets, floor, towels, bath area were all clean. The hotel did not have an unsatisfactory odor, which probably indicates some work in that area. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but they usually had other non-guests in the area with whom they visited. The hotel's continental breakfast was not worth partaking: just sugary dry cereal and donuts; bagels, and juice. Location wise, the hotel is easy to get to and get out of: it is behind a good mexican restaurant, and cross the street from a reasonable buffet - chinese/american, etc. Overall, this stay was satisfactory.
