Great location, cabin not well maintained

Good area, quiet street, very close to water, kayaks were nice, host timely with communication. Cabin not very well maintained, with issues such as very old appliances, freezer not able to be used (frozen over), microwave button labels have worn off so there’s no way to tell what the buttons actually do, shower leaked down to the first floor, grill igniter doesn’t work. We expected very minimal amenities and a rustic cabin, but feel there could be more attention paid to bare essentials and regular maintenance.

The location was stunning, right beside the lake, and the fact that the cabin is pet-friendly made it even better for us to enjoy the stay with our little furry guy! These are the main reasons we’re giving it the highest rating. That said, there are several things that could be improved to better justify the rental price.

Serene Getaway

My wife and I and our small dog stayed for 3 nights and it was really relaxing. Great area, quiet and overall beautiful and a really pleasant experience. Thank you for the bottle of wine nice touch and appreciated. We will definitely be staying here more often.

Lovely cabin to stay in for a short stay. Enjoyed having a fire pit to use. Only downside is how close the neighbors are to the property, as the fire pit is right next to the neighbors hot tub and both neighbors were playing loud music.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach-facing cabin with our dog! The property was clean, well maintained, and everything was in perfect working order. The views were beautiful, and we had a relaxing, enjoyable getaway. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to return!
