"The room seemed rundown and not up-kept, indoor pool was closed when the sign said open so we paid for the spa which had a hot tub but then the restroom and showers were out of service. They had a bunch of elevators not working. It was a long navigation just to get to the hotel room, lobby and casino area. Compared to the other casinos we visited along the boardwalk the bathrooms were clean and casino areas were clean and more slot variety options. Tropicana did have good dining options, highly recommend Carmine! "

"the only issue i had was that the bathroom smelled like a wet cat and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. wasn't too happy about that but i dealt with it. "

"The pictures show a really nicely done hotel….you get there and the whole place looks sketchy…the “breakfast” was tiny and not something I even attempted to eat since I’m pregnant and just didn’t look even close to appetizing. My kids wouldn’t even look at it. The halls smell of weed even the elevator which was kinda old and creepy feeling. If I didn’t just pay over $300 and another $100 for a deposit I would not have stayed. But no one had vacancies. Oh and our bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close. I am so disgusted that I paid for this complete catfish of a hotel. "
