"I arrived late as my train from Milan was delayed. Unfortunately the intercom seemed not to work. Fortunately, a guest was returning, so i could get in. The check in was very quick. All on ipad. The room is controlled by an iPad too. Blinds, TV, colours. Smallish room."

"The room was pretty small, for that price and for a four-star hotel, but it was kind of comfortable anyway. I asked for a quiet room, and it was in a quiet corner, though the top of the door was shorter than the frame, so there was a space between that allowed light or noise in. The shower was open, but in a small place, so when you have a shower, you flood the whole bathroom (only sink, the toilet is in a different room) and struggle not to get the carpet in the room wet. The people at the Reception when I arrived and when I left were very polite. However, when I went to discuss a couple of things about my room with the receptionist (Wednesday at 10:00 pm) he was very dismissive and unhelpful. I complained about the fact that when I got back, my window was open (it was 5C outside), he just said that they must have forgotten it open since when they cleaned the room in the morning (no apologies). I asked for more water (you find one bottle of water in the room when you arrive, and that's it), and he told me to get it from the sink. I asked for some tea bags (you find only 3 green tea bags in the room when you arrive), and he told me that he could not give me more tea bags (that is the "formule" of the hotel). Overall, the room was ok and I enjoyed it, but I would not go back for the service. I have been to the Ibis hotel around the corner, and I got a bigger room and better service, for a lower price."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel has a modest, old-world charm, without feeling stuffy.The staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms have all the basics for this class of hotels. There is a hot water kettle with tea and coffee, and the bathroomnoffers hand and body wash (no conditioner or lotion, but then again, i didn't ask for any). The windows keep the street noise out, and the gentle rumbling of the Metro lulled me to sleep in the comfortable bed. There are restaurants, cafes, bakeries and small supermarkets in the area, and the Metro is right outside. I would stay here again."
