"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain."

"Good parking Check out at 10 am is too early for travelers Breakfast poor: we only got a bottle of milk no juice in the refrigerator. Our room has no air conditioner , has a fan instead. Disappointed ,room doesn’t look anything like pictures shown Windows has no screen, so when we open to get fresh air, bugs flown in. Fortunately we only stay one night otherwise I wouldn’t stay longer."

"En arrivant sur place nous découvrons le Chateau de Ré, la propriétaire était là pour nous accueillir, un accueil chaleureux nous avons pu connaître l'historique du Château et elle répondait avec plaisir à toutes nos questions. Chambre salle de bains sanitaires le tout très propre et bien agencé et décoré. Un succulent petit déjeuner avec produits locaux Si nous revenons dans la région c'est sans aucune hésitation que nous relogerons au Chateau de Ré"

"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well. One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...
