"Lovely hotel in a quiet location in beautiful spacious grounds. Sabrina was very friendly and helpful also providing a good varied breakfast. Pool looked great although too cold for us to use when we were there in mid-May. Large room with a very comfortable large bed, great bathroom and shower and great balcony overlooking the countryside. A car is needed as too far and steep to walk to the local restaurants."

"Run-down hotel. The pool needs to be looked after, the food was horrible, and the room had a kitchen but absolutely nothing in it - no utensils, pots and pots or plates. "Staff very friendly. No car parking on site. Had to park on the adjacent road. The spa facilities on site were amazing and the staff in there were also friendly. Spa services were additional cost but that was expected. During the evening meal and breakfast, it was like the staff were only interested in the large coach group in attendance. Breakfast choice was ok but if you get there a bit after it opens, the choice is very limited as the large group has had it all."

Our room was spacious and clean, but a bit dark as it was below the main part of the property and not enough good lighting. Nice to have a terrace, but difficult to use as our neighbours needed to walk through it to get to their room. Also could do with better sound proofing as we could hear our neighbours chatting."

"The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future."
