"Friendly staff at check in and at breakfast. Reception staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Best breakfast ever with lots of choices to suit all tastes. Rooms really comfortable with beautiful en suite and fantastic shower. Coffee maker and pods and also kettle and tea bags in room. Double glazing cut outside noise out completely. Handy to metro line with direct route to airport. 10-15 walk to restaurants and bars. Enjoyed our 4 night stay."

"We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The room was very minimal. The staff was excellent. The location was perfect to walk to the train/Metro, which is what we were looking for that checked all the boxes. the staff are very, very helpful. "

"This was a very nice hotel on the banks of the Douro river, excellent restaurant with delicious Portuguese wines. My only complaint is that the restaurant doesn't open until 07:30 for breakfast so I was offer a reception breakfast which truly terrible. Plastic long life white bread, processed ham and cheese and sugary snack, and terrible coffee. Shame as that's what I remember but otherwise was excellent. "

"This hotel is a fantastic choice if you want a quiet stay away from the main tourist crowds while remaining within easy reach of everything. It’s very affordable and only a 10-minute walk to the city center, with a metro station just two blocks away. Pro tip: if you’re coming from the airport, just take the E line straight to the 24 de Agosto station. We stayed here for our anniversary and were warmly welcomed by Ines. She gave us a quick tour and personally walked us to our room, which was a wonderful touch. Since the hotel is less than a year old, everything feels fresh and very clean. The entire staff is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern stay!"

"The property was perfect. Rooms are modern, plenty of space and well kept. The pool, gym and spa were excellent. The wine tasting experience was great and plenty of options that suit what you are looking for, especially if you have a budget. Staff were friendly and helpful. This was my second visit and it did not disappoint."

"Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort. "
