"Even though it’s right off a four lane highway, it’s quiet at night. It is currently only staffed remotely, but the lobby had plenty of coffee, snacks and water. Fredericksburg is roughly 20 minutes away, so lots of wineries nearby and places to eat. Cozy and just right for a weekend getaway. "

Great communication with the property manager - very responsive. Overall comfortable. We enjoyed it but we were a little uncomfortable with the beds (mattresses) and sofa beds. There can also be a little bit better maintenance of the outdoor areas so they can be more enjoyable. Otherwise, well maintained and cozy. "

"We had an amazing stay at The Martinsburg! We spent two days here and it was the perfect Hill Country getaway. The cabin is beautiful, modern, and extremely well kept. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and details to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is fantastic — peaceful and surrounded by the rolling hills, yet still very close to Fredericksburg and several great wineries. Being within walking distance to Pedernales Cellars was a huge plus for us. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the quiet atmosphere and the beautiful views of the Hill Country. If you're looking for a relaxing place to stay near Fredericksburg, we highly recommend The Martinsburg.
