The home was spotless and beautifully maintained, and all the thoughtful touches made it feel warm and welcoming. Jim and Laura clearly care about their guests, and their attention to detail made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely place, well kept and unique experience"

"The property was very quiet and charming. It was like staying at my grandmothers house when I was a kid. I would definitely stay here again. However, there is no hot tub like advertised. There are also lots of nails around the house from the newly installed roof. A previous review stated the same issue with nails, and they have not been cleaned up. We picked up lots of nails and metal cuttings during our stay to help. Someone needs to go out with a magnet and clean up the mess from the new roof. "

"Pleasant, clean space. I am a very light sleeper and especially have issues with 'white noise'.... (fans, HVAC, traffic). This was very quiet. Nice space."

"We were in town to visit the WWII museum in Fredericksburg and see the town. Sadly we only had one day this trip. The stay was wonderful and everything was as advertised. Comfortable beds, everything was clean and very nicely taken care of. You can tell it was an older house by the design but the upgrades and work on the home are great. Keeps much of the old home charm while updating allnof the necessities. We were traveling with my in-laws you have never stayed in a short term rental and they loved it and were very impressed. If we ever get back to Fredericksburg we will certainty try booking here first. "
