"Perfect location and great property giving easy access to the town and beaches. The views from the lounge are lovely. Our party consisted of 3 adults, 2 children and 2 labradors and the property served us well! Plenty of room. We appreciated the call from Dawn the day before to introduce herself and to ensure we had her number in case we needed it - we didn’t!"

"Lovely studio accommodation, perfect for the two of us and our dog, just what we needed for a 4 night stay, bright and airy and lovely garden for our dog to stretch her legs. Fabulous location to explore the villages near and further away and just a 15 minute walk to Warkworth beach. There were so many places to eat but our favourites were The Fish Shack and Spurelli's ice cream parlour in Amble, The Landing cafe in Beadnell, and the Masons Arms in Warkworth was good for pub food and...

Chestnut Lodge, Northumberland
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, 25 reviews
"Really enjoyed our stay, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. The only downside was the location of hot tub - guests from other properties were constantly walking right past the tub in order to get to the other side of the lake. A privacy screen would make a huge difference."

6 Bedrooms | Northumberland Coast | Recently Refurbished
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, 8 reviews
"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. The garden area was spacious and the hot tub was amazing! The hut itself was very cosy and toasty when the log burner was on. The bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and powerful. Gorgeous cosy Fisherman's cottage in Seahouses, Northumberland
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, 31 reviews
"We have just returned from a week-long stay in this lovely location. It is situated just around the corner from the harbour and had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. My only criticism would be that it advertised a DVD player (and I had brought along several DVDs which we were looking forward to watching) and, although there was indeed a player, it had the wrong connection for the TV and we were therefore unable to use it. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Thank You."

"We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future."
