Come relax on the ocean in our 900 Sq Ft property, Without the confines of a boat!!
We are Centrally located on the North side of the Island, a ten minute drive to downtown historic Christiansted !
Soothe your soul to the sound of waves splashing just two yards from your spacious and comfortable large private patio. Panoramic ocean views from every room !!
Watch the kite surfers navigate the turquoise waters in front, or just enjoy the sunshine, African trade winds and serene views.
You may even see a whale jump !
Pass through a locked gate to Pelican Cove Beach to swim, or snorkel along the reef and eat out at one of the neighboring restaurants. There is also a large lovely maintained pool on our private property!

The supermarket is five minutes by car or taxi so you can cook and enjoy meals and cocktails at your leisure, in the privacy of your seaside getaway.
There are two flat screen TV's and complementary WiFi for your comfort and convenience !
We also provide support and information to those who wish to explore & experience a wide range of activities, some of which include: world class diving, paddle boarding, snorkeling, duty free shopping, Botanical Gardens, hiking the rainforest, skydiving, horseback riding on the ocean, kite surfing, para-sailing or visiting Point Udall the Eastern most point of the United States. St Croix offers everything from super casual dining at funky beach destinations to elegant dining downtown !!! We are located directly on the water in the line of the Trade Winds which are a joy to take advantage of.

Relaxing ocean getaway

We heard constant waves crashing, and unending ocean views! Perfect way to relax at night and perfect thing to wake up to in the morning!

Great time on St Croix

The location was very good, on the water and fairly central. We had excellent communication with the owner, and he made sure we had everything we needed (even brand new hair dryers). The property was as described, not new, but clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the view.

We had a great time - condo was lovely!

Mother / daughter trip - our first time to St. Croix. The condo was very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and had everything we needed. As others have stated, the complex is showing it's age but is maintained well and the pool is in excellent condition. The condo has everything you need - plenty of towels, good quality beach chairs and all the basic necessities. We were very comfortable there and felt safe. Location is good for visiting the island attractions and dining out options. Joe was great at suggesting restaurants and things to do -- highly recommend the snorkle trip to Buck Island and the bioluminescent kayak tour. Best beaches were Cane Bay and Rainbow Beach and the drive to Udall Point is beautiful. Overall we had a great trip and plan on returning in the future!

Gorgeous View

The views saved the day! Convenient location to Christansted. The neighborhood was a little worrisome but we had no trouble. The exterior of the property is rough & showing its age. We had to slam the entry door to shut it. Property owner very responsive and helpful with suggested places to eat etc.

Beautiful view!

The condo sits on the water’s edge and the view is beautiful. Furniture, beds and linens are new and clean. It’s important to understand the climate on the island though. The constant exposure to salt water does take its toll on the buildings. Doors might stick and paint will crack. Joe was quick to respond when I had questions.

St. Croix is beautiful

We loved this place. Absolutely beautiful views and a clean, friendly condominium complex. Neighborhood looks like it’s seen some storm damage and is being rebuilt. The beach was covered in seaweed while we were there but no less beautiful to look at. Just have to drive to one of the island’s many beaches to swim and relax. Overall, the place is a great base from which to explore the island. We would definitely stay here again.

Pure Joy!

We had an excellent stay at Kathryn's Joy. We were there for 12 days and each day brought its own adventure. The "community" here is very friendly and full of advice. The manager of the complex was very helpful. The condo itself was just as the pictures showed. It was well stocked and comfortable. We really appreciated the full ice cube trays when we arrived. I was able to communicate immediatly with the owner on a number of small issues. Thanks so much for sharing this spectacular condo with us.

Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ay Kathryn's Joy. It is in a fantastic location right on the ocean, and only a few minutes drive from Christiansted. There is great snorkeling just a few steps down the beach in front of the Palms Resort. The rental is comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. There were even many beach towels, chairs, flotation devices and beach toys provided. The property manager Joe was very attentive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Location

The listing is exactly as pictured. Actually, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s facing east, so we were up with the sun, which we enjoyed. By noon, the sun was behind the covered porch and so relaxing. The owner stayed in contact with us to make sure everything was okay. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this property.

Magical vacation

My daughter & I took my grandson to St. Croix for his 16th birthday. It was a magical trip! We stayed at the condo from Mon-Sat & the only problem we had was finding it… in the dark, in a rental car w/no dash lights so the very comprehensive directions Joe sent could not be followed because we couldn’t see the mileage on the dash to know how far we had gone. The road names are not accurate& the only way we finally got there was to pull up the map in the VRBO listing & then GPS got us there. We loved the views, the unit & the privacy. There was no one on the beach & no one in the pool but us! Highly recommend! Joe was great to keep in touch with & went above & beyond as a host. Would definitely stay there again!

Pleasant Stay

The property is right on the water and there’s a nice pool area. The master bedroom and bath have been updated along with the shower of the second bedroom. The handle on the sliding door to the patio needs replacing. When we sat on the patio, we had to keep the door ajar because the handle was corroded, caked with salt, and broken. One bedroom was nice, one was barely large enough to fit the bed and was separated from the living room by broken louvered doors. There was no ac in this bedroom, had to keep the squeaking fan on to sleep. The neighborhood is really dumpy.

I gave Kathyrn's Joy 5 star because it was earned. The view, the convenience, the beach, the owner and Gerard the mgr are great. The minute you open the door you will be looking out over beautiful Caribbean blue water 180 degrees. The condo is in a gated complex directly at the oceans edge. KJ offers everything you need or could want. The homey feel of a beachfront cottage, fully equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable king bedrooms with baths and a living room all oceanfront. Beaches one both sides of the condo are great for walking and swimming. Convenience: you are within 2 miles of Christiansted and less than 2 miles from FoodTown. A 5 minute walk on the beautiful beach to The Palms where they offer full restaurant all day plus a full bar. Dining right on the beach. They also have night entertainment. We were able to see the Moko Jumbie group. Amazing skilled and talented stilt dancing group with a full narrated history of the art. Bring a good book you will find the sounds of the ocean, the stingray visits and the breezes on your lanai hard to leave.

We stayed for five nights and absolutely loved the accommodations! The condo was clean, well-maintained, and very spacious, and the grounds were nice. Our fantastic patio, just feet from the ocean, became our living space – we spent every early morning and late evening out there, enjoying the awesome breeze. The beds were great, and there was plenty of space inside. We especially appreciated the privacy of the property; it was one of the most private we've ever experienced. This location was also a perfect hub for our diving trips to Christiansted, Cane Bay, and Frederiksted. The development does show its age and so is the surrounding area, but had an awesome stay.

The property was exactly as the photos show-gorgeous views of the Caribbean!! It was clean, beds were very firm but we slept great on them! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5, there was an issue with the front door not locking, but reached out to Joseph and he responded quickly but the door was not fixed during our stay. The property is gated, but the gate was propped open by others multiple times we entered. The property is tucked away but thankful for our family picking us up knowing exactly where it was.
