Our stay at Strowan House 1 was beyond expectations. Rose our host met us on arrival and was most gracious in answering all our questions and helping us get settled with all our needs. Transportation to city centre by bus was outside our door, most convenient. The home was spotlessly clean and well stocked with all amenities such as towels and kitchen supplies. We would definitely stay again.

In Christchurch to watch some golf

We came to Christchurch for 5 nights to watch a golf tournament. The location was great, the place is spacious, comfortable and Rose set it up so that we could have the 2 singles as a king in the bigger bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will return next time we’re in Christchurch.

What a great spot, what a lovely place!

Perfection. I'm a fairly heavy user of hotel chains, apartment rentals, and other forms of accomodations, and it's been a true delight to stay here for my Christchurch visit this week. We have stayed in many places but this one tops them all. Warm, well stocked with things you would need for your stay along with extras like a cupboard full of toys, soft comfy beds, Netflix, Sky, wifi, toiletries etc etc. Highly recommended. Great value. Gracious hosts.
