Good location but too sparse
We booked this property for 8 nights. It would be sufficient for 1-3 night stays where you want to eat out for dinners, but for anything longer it is lacking. This is a new property and the listing is accurate however it is very sparsely appointed: one old wok and one pot, 3 towels, no hand towels, limited replacement supplies, no spare sheets, missing a set of sheets for the 3rd bed. Fridge was not cleaned properly and no spare rubbish bags or paper towels. Strong smell of gas coming from under the stove. No oven or dishwasher. We asked the owner for another pot/frypan as one of the guests was vegetarian and the owner said they would not supply anything further. We asked for sheets for the 3rd bed (couch) and nothing arrived. The shower has good pressure which was probably the only highlight. No hand towels so we ended up having to use one of the towels. One bed was comfortable, but the other was a rock hard mattress and we couldn't sleep in it. Unfortunately a disappointing stay in what looked like a good place.

Perfect spot, lovely accommodation
Lovely accommodation that suited all our needs. Comfortable, quiet, easy to deal with owners. Highly recommend. We will be back when visiting Christchurch in the future.
