As always the all stars inn is a fantastic place to stay however this time there was some disgusting sticky substance on the roof. Unfortunately it was outside of reception hours so no one could attend to view. Other than that, again an amazing stay with friendly staff and fantastic prices.

Nice clean place
Clean and nice facility. If you arrive late on Friday, it’s a bit hard to find spot to park.

First time experience
Upon check in my room had a bad odour. The shared bathrooms are only cleaned once a day which is clearly not frequent enough. The place is looking a bit tired, and the kitchen lacks good crockery, cutlery and glasses. The bed was comfortable enough. Reception is infrequently attended.

For the price it was good but had noisy people next door who partied until late, but apart from that the room was very clean except for the carpet which was stained.

We liked it was new, but my daughter's bed was full of bed bugs, so we slept on top of sleeping bags that we had,plus the plates were dirty n no shampoo

I have stayed several times with very good comfort for the room I chose. this time I chose a room and it had no cooling system at all and for the amount of people, it was very disappointing. For a place of this standard and the $$ they make out of such a room, they need to think of the basics of such for the comfort and humidy./smell that occurs.

A long way to the toilet
Had everything expected of a hostel including a well equipt kitchen and a laundry. Our twin room was comfortable and even had a TV. The only real annoyance was the distance of our room from the male toilets and showers. We were really close to the female facilites, but at the opposit end of the floor to the male facilites. It would probably work better if they changed these into unsex facilites to do away with the problem.

This is the 4th time we have stayed here. The high standard of cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the Ale house and restaurant on the premises gives us all we need. The only fault could be the amount of landscape debris lying outside our window, not recently cut down, and could be a fire hazard. Our door key didn't work, and we were immediately given a new room.

Hi, sorry for the noise, we had a lot of people staying with us that came to Christchurch to watch the rugby match and hence the noise. We were trying our best and asked them several times to be more respectful and quiet. I hope you had a good stay regardless...

The property is excellent value for money, the toilets and showers was very clean! The bedrooms were also very clean, it was very handy having a fridge in the dorm rooms! It was also very handy that every bunk had it’s own shelf, bed light and power point! Would 10/10 stay again. Kitchen was also spotless! However it is about a 30min walk into the city, but worth it for the accommodation that you get!

Good location with bar/restaurant on site. Good parking and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the cleaning was not carried out properly in our room, there was urine all around floor by the toilet, public hair on the toilet, poop marks in the bowl and lots of urine all up under the toilet seat and there was a strong smell of urine. The glasses were also very dirty and looked unwashed. On complaint we were moved to another room quickly and without hassle but were a bit wary of cleanliness standard after our initial experience
