Lovely hosts, fantastic location and views! Right on the doorstep of Chipping Campden too.
Lovely hosts, fantastic location and views! Right on the doorstep of Chipping Campden too. The cottage is spacious and well equipped, the only criticism is the 'living room' chairs could be more inviting especially after a long day of walking! 2 good sized bedrooms both with en suite showers is a fantastic bonus though! Would definitely return for another visit!

The shower leaked onto the dining room table, and with luck the water missed my computer by inches.
The shower leaked onto the dining room table, and with luck the water missed my computer by inches. When we informed the owner, she said it was a recurring problem and was due to the door not being closed properly, and that a plumber could not find the leak. If this was the case I think we should have been warned about it. We however found that this excuse for the leak was incorrect and I left a note accordingly.
A pity because this was an excellent cottage otherwise

Excellent postion for getting away to the countryside.
Excellent postion for getting away to the countryside. Large living space which was very comfortable. Bathing facilites a little dated although both rooms en suite. Kitchen could do with a bit of upgrade. Local pub excellent with super food and service especially during Covid-19 times.
Overall a lovley break and with a very freindly welcome from our host with lots of good advice.

Well equipped cottage with stone flag floors on the ground floor.
Well equipped cottage with stone flag floors on the ground floor. Quite steep stairs up to the bedrooms & the master bedroom has a double bed & a window that is not covered so let’s in the light at dawn. This woke us up at 6-am.
