"Jeff's place is absolutely stunning! It's cleaner than places that don't allow dogs and is very well furnished. At the time we stayed there was no internet or television but seriously, you won't miss those. When you drive in you're not just pulling up from the road into a driveway, you're driving onto a small resort - through a gate that's well off the main road, past what looked like a boat house, around a roundabout, past a pole shed (game house), through a larger parking lot into the smaller lot in front of the house. The beach front is more than large enough, I think 500 ft, but because of the shape of the coast line and the distance to the surrounding neighbor's piers you visually have hundreds of yards. Unlike many places whose photos hide houses just outside of the shot, you won't see the neighbors, not by a long shot. But knowing they are there is good - waved at a couple during our walks off the property (the only time in the week we were there that we left the property). A good stay, I can't say enough!"

"Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best of luck and now he can enjoy relaxing!If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place where you want to go! Out in the country away from city noise and traffic! You'll love it!"

"The beds were comfortable, kitchen nicely stocked. Handicap accessible kitchen! Clean bathrooms. Dates carpet throughout. AC didn’t work. They were supposed to send someone over to look at it but I don’t to j they did (at least while we were there. The coffee machine leaked but they did offer to bring a new one to us which was nice (we decided to just go to Starbucks so we told them they didn’t have to). The check-in process took quite a while and is very time-share-ish. You have to decline sitting through timeshare speech. The owner tried to give us helpful advice to avoid that hassle but it didn’t work. I like the price point and the location was convenient. "
