"After a day on the beach we were so pleased to arrive at this gorgeous gastro pub with rooms. Beautiful, and comfortable rooms with lovely style and welcoming touches, and our dog was welcomed happily and given her own bed and there was even a dog shower area outside. Dinner outside was delicious and a great breakfast menu too, traditional and healthy options also. Thoroughly recommend and hope to come back. "
"De kamer was erg warm en bedompt. Hotel is wat oubollig en mag wel een likje verf hebben. Buitenzijde ziet er niet uit, binnen is het redelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheid. Werkt samen met ‘Beef Eater’ naast de deur. Ontbijt was zeer beperkt tot alleen zoetigheid, brood en pannenkoeken, of je moest het typisch Engels ontbijt kiezen. Verder geen kaas of vleeswaren.

"Staff amazing, facilities a little dated but end of season so bound to be the case. We had our five year old grand daughter so outside games brilliant, pool brilliant and option to eat in hotel a great help. Good selection for breakfast"

"We only booked an overnight stay at the hotel together with a pre theatre dinner. Check in & check out was quick and easy. All the staff throughout our stay were polite & helpful. The room was a good size & packed with all the usual equipment you would need for your stay which also included a mini bar. We were very surprised when we saw the height of the bed which was unusually high but very comfortable when you managed to climb on it. Would book there again."

My husband wanted to get away for the weekend before starting his chemotherapy the week after and wanted to do something different and this was just perfect. "Conveniently placed for exploring the city on foot with free parking. We were in room 4 which had a south facing verandah which was lovely as we had good weather. The full english breakfast was excellent - done exactly as it should be. All the staff were friendly and helpful."
