Occupying a superb location set along an unmade lane, opposite the quiet unspoilt pebble beach which leads to Pagham Nature Reserve where numerous birds, wildlife and fauna can be seen. A perfect base to enjoy a seaside holiday, this unusual detached property was formerly two railway carriages and many of the original features are still in place including the heavy carriage doors, windows and arched ceilings. The holiday property has its own private enclosed front garden; external steps lead to the entrance and large covered balcony terrace where alfresco dining can be enjoyed overlooking the stunning panoramic sea views. Selsey has a good array of shops, pubs and restaurants, freshly caught fish of the day and leisure facilities. Chichester is about 15-20 minutes’ drive with its beautiful cathedral, festival theatre, cobbled streets and Goodwood Races. The South Downs and West Wittering beach are also within easy reach. The historic naval Portsmouth with Spinnaker Tower, designer shopping, exclusive dining and day trips to the Isle of Wight is within easy driving distance. Discover scenic walks, sailing, fishing, birdwatching, cycle routes and riding and golf locally. Shops, pubs and restaurants 0.75 miles.

Perfect property for a family stay visiting other family members in Selsey . Unique and quirky- we loved it! It made our Christmas, along with fantastic views of the sea
Lovely quirky property. Very novel to see the old train carriages. The sea views were gorgeous and the beach garden was lovely to sit in, looking out to sea. The area was very peaceful and relaxing break.
The property was great with a lot of features from the train carriages - had everything we needed for a family of 5. Clean, tidy, secure garden for our dog.Location great - quiet at end of private road, lots of walks along the beach to East Selsey Kiosk one way, Pagham Harbour the other.Excellent!
Myself, 4 kids ages 9-23, 2 dogs! A fantastic few days away! The house is well equipped, clean and cozy! A very homely feel, love the layout and my 8 yr daughter loved the quirky little bunk bed in the small kids room!! That was a bonus :) plenty to do nearby, but loved just stepping out onto the beach, and sitting on balcony watching/listening to the sea 💕 we would def be back here next time we need a few days away! Thank you soo much xx
We came to stay for a very wet Easter week away with the kiddies was just wanting a diff environment for a few days.
It lived up to that and much more, even in the cold wet weather the location and home was perfect,
We was kept very warm and Cosy in this property it really was home for home. We have tried many properties in selsey over the years and this is the best unique home we have found! Deffo recommend staying in this very rear home.

Kitted out so you could stay there for ever! Kitchen equipment wise, everything you can think off. Really spacious and warm.
Perfect location, just 20 steps from the property, and you are on the beach.

it is a lovely property in a superb location.
We were extremely lucky with the weather.
Only problem we had was the steps at the front - as 2 80 year olds it was a difficult job getting up the steps. especially with any baggage. Luckily our son stayed initial weekend to settle us in and returned to carry everything out.
t would be a help to older people if there was a right hand rail, and perhaps rubber strips on the steps.

a lovely quirky property, with excellent sea views. A fab location.
The property could definitely do with an upgrade. We were hugely disappointing with the shower - which should come with a warning label. It ran cold and then VERY HOT, all the time, to the point where it can burn you - this is a health and safety issue. For the amount that you pay for this property, its a shame the owner cannot sort out the shower. A rubber mat would also have been helpful, so you don't slip in the shower. The toilet is also quite grim.
It wouldn't cost a lot to sort this. the owner should seriously change this.
Absolutely brilliant for our needs,very quirky property with the rail carriage theme and was lovely and warm ! Will definitely return at a later date .
Fabulous stay. So quiet and relaxing. Beautiful countryside for working. Beach clean, sea amazingly clear and great for swimming. Turnstiles is lovely and a relaxing space to be in. Everything you could need and a gorgeous veranda to sit and watch the seas.
Lovely updated, very clean beach cottage. Beautiful deck overlooking the ocean for which we spent much time. Well appointed and stocked with all amenities one could want from beach towels, chairs, coffees & teas, toiletries, etc. The kitchen was beautifully appointed with high end appliances. Very close to all shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.
This property is amazing, its full of character and very very cosy. The location is ideal, right in the beach, walking distance to fish and chips, short drive to Asda.
Flora is especially lovely and always made sure we were ok and comfortable.
We highly recommend this place, we will be back very soon.
