The flat was super spacious and very cute! Walkable to everything that you would need. The location is fantastic as far as access to dining and the lakefront I will definitely be saving this one to visit regularly!
Best of both worlds - close to the city AND quiet inside.
My daughter and I had a girls weekend in Chicago and loved the location and neighborhood. The property was updated and clean yet maintained the flavor of city living.
The positives were great location for Lincoln park activities and clean, accurately portrayed property. The negatives were a very tiny bathroom and sidewalk construction when visiting. Overall, great property.
Check in was easy, property was located in a great area. Super quiet at night. The only downside was that it was around 80 degrees when we first got there and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the AC. The property manager didn't respond until the next day. Thankfully it was cold that night so we just opened the windows to cool the place down. They eventually offered to have someone come out to look at the AC but we were gone all day sightseeing. We didn't want to spend any of our time waiting for someone to come to the property. Overall, nice place.
The apartment was centrally located, and very safe. Overall, the apartment was fairly clean. The windows were really dirty and I think with a good cleaning it could really bright nap. Also, the comforter had clearly not been washed because they were stains on it. But those were really minor overall kitchen was well equipped and I had a lovely visit.
I spent a long weekend in Chicago with my bicycle and this was a great location for that! The walk-up entry directly into the apartment was much easier than dealing with typical multi-unit apartments. The location has great walk/bike/bus access, with Target and several restaurants within a 15 minute walk.
My only complaint was that some of the lights didn't seem to work, and outlets in common areas aren't the most convenient. Not a dealbreaker at all, but just something to be aware of.
Great location for us! Close to where we needed to be as well as a few cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to Lincoln Park Zoo too! Place was clean and the bed was comfy. Pictures are older - furniture was worn, stained, or had been replaced with cheaper pieces. We had to flip one couch cushion over as it looked really bad. Also, the bathroom is tiny - so if you are a bigger person, it may be a challenge.
We visited our daughters for Easter. Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. We appreciate the paper products, comfortable bed, fast wi-fi. No trouble finding parking.
First time using vrbo and I was very happy to have stayed here! One of the best places I have had the pleasure to stay at. Would definitely love to come back in the future!
Great location and amazing area with plenty to do. The sheet and comforter used for the person to sleep on the couch were both in dire need of a good washing. The sheet was stained with blood so we purchased one to use. We did love the property and understand sometimes things are overlooked accidently. I do recommend having more towels and at least two washcloths. Thank you!
Enjoyed the stay! It was extremely convenient to Lincoln park and public transit. Check-in process was super easy. Also, the property had some great coffee!
We had a great time enjoying the Lincoln Park/Old Town area. Our one bedroom apartment was in the perfect location and equipped with lots of appreciated amenities including a blow up bed, extra linens, comforters, a fan, plenty of dishes and extra garbage bags and cleaning supplies. The bathroom was also stocked with extra toiletries. There is coin laundry available and laundry detergent was even included in a closet. The apartment was very clean and the outside patio was a nice addition.

Wonderful Location
Walking distance to Lincoln Park and Olde Town. Everything you need for a long weekend in Chicago. Very nice and clean unit. Bathroom is a bit small but plenty of room in the unit. Nice Kitchen with everything you need. Only issue was communication with Concierge service was poor (they never called me back); but I got things worked out and would stay again.

Great place in a great neighborhood
It's exactly as advertised, clean, & entirely practical. There are striking views from the back porch & back street of the Sears Tower. Security features seem functional without a guard. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the instructions for checking in had to be requested & the instructions for checking out did not come after being requested.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location. There was a lot of good, but there was also a good amount of bad.
First, the place needs a good cleaning…There were so many large crumbs on the couch and behind the cushions. It was like someone dumped a bag of cookies all over the place. The counter with the microwave was full of crumbs and inside the microwave was a cheese explosion. There were so many large cobwebs and clumps of dust in the corners and near doors. I cleaned all of that. I contacted the concierge service and red awning and never had anyone respond back.
The customer service was awful. We never received our check in instructions but we got a voicemail saying if we didn’t get them by now to call them. I called to be told, don’t call us, call the person in the email (which I didn’t have). I finally got the door code.
The listing should be a little more transparent. There is only a window A/C in the living room. So it was warm in bedroom because of no A/C.
I was looking forward to using the washer/dryer but they are coin operated. Who carries a roll of quarters with them or where am I going to get some on a weekend?
We only had 3 towels during our 4 day trip. We wouldn’t mind washing them, but again, the coin operated laundry. Maybe 4 or 6 towels could have been provided.
The good points were the location, a comfy bed, and a good working bathroom. (The bathroom is small, but it’s totally doable).
Red Awning and the local host disappointed us.
Super location to launch to visit Lincoln Park area, the zoo, Second City, the lakefront/beach, Green City Market, or downtown. Public transit access choices are superb from this address! Unit was excellent--everything the description discussed. Spouse + I are already planning our next year Chicago experience to be based from this unit again.
