The Lake House-2br/2bth - 50 steps from the beach!

This amazing 2 bed/2 bath space is steps from the beach! Beautiful modern upgrades. Large kitchen with quartz countertops, which provides seating for 4. The building has a shared large patio with lake views in the front the building. Bath 1 has 4 body sprays and a powerful rain head and Bath 2 has a jetted bathtub/shower combo. In unit laundry & supplies. Walking distance to several bars, restaurants, Loyola and the Red line train station. On site garage parking for 1 small to mid sized car is avail. for an addl. $20 daily fee; however, you must reserve at booking. If your car is greater than 190” in length, please reach out to host well in advance to confirm if your vehicle will fit. We have access to a second garage space that is slightly bigger; however, the space gets booked up quickly, so you must confirm well in advance. For those who have larger pick up trucks, you will likely have a difficult time finding a place to park, as Chicago is dense and parking is limited.

Lovely and Convenient!
Home is lovely and resides just north of the L-Red Line so it was really easy to pop into downtown Chicago without issue! We stayed here with our three kids and it was a beautiful, well maintained rental! Additionally, the owner was a gem and very communicative!

Great place for visiting Loyola
The location was great for our visit of Loyola. It's walking distance to the school, a few restaurants, and close to the L. The property is clean, the beds are comfortable, and it was one of the best "stocked" VRBOs we've ever stayed in.

We enjoyed walking to and along the lake, the great mural project, the view of downtown from the pier, easy "el" access, and the sparkling, modern interior of the unit, which had a fantastic array of kitchen equipment. I particularly appreciated the full spice drawer and coffee filters etc.

Perfect stay.
Overall we were extremely happy and comfortable here. The close proximity to the beach was phenomenal and our dogs loved their walks. Unit is stocked with everything you need. Host was gracious and helpful. Unfortunately, we were unable to maneuver our SUV into the garage, but we easily found nearby street parking. Will likely stay here again!

Great Location and Great Host
We were so happy with the location. The lake is right at the end of the street, the leaves were changing and the weather was perfect for us after a very long and hot Arizona summer. The host Diane was great. We would definitely book again.

Great location
We were visiting Northwestern, but this is actually closer to Loyola. Great spot for either one. We went out on the beach every day/evening for walks. We felt safe and comfortable on the beach and walking the neighborhood. Starbucks for breakfast at the end of the block and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The garage spot was a bonus, not too hard to maneuver into, and neighbors were very good natured about waiting for us to park. Very quiet at night too.
