I loved The Drake. It's location, restaurants and staff were the best. My room looked out over Lake Michigan and I was able to watch the sunrise. I would love to stay here again in the future. I do not have one negative thing to say about The Drake.

I liked how everyone who worked at The Drake were kind, caring and very helpful. They explained any questions I may have had. The rooms were beautiful, clean and had extra towels in the rooms. The valet service was also wonderful! We parked in self parking to save some money, and it was only a block away!

Excellent experience… A wonderful and historic place to stay… unfortunately, our view was of a fire escape, and a brick wall! But that did not deter us, made it all the more “Chicago”! Go to the bar and get the Caprese ravioli… Just do it… Best pasta I’ve ever had!

The Drake Hotel is a wonderful Chicago landmark with timeless elegance, beautiful architecture, and exceptional service. Its location on Michigan Avenue is outstanding, placing guests close to the lakefront, shopping, restaurants, and many of the city’s best attractions. The rooms are comfortable and full of historic charm, and the hotel’s public spaces feel grand and inviting. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend The Drake to anyone visiting downtown Chicago.

We had a wonderful stay at The Drake Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—convenient to everything while still feeling elegant and special. The staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and helpful, always going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. This hotel is 106 years old, expect the musty smell. The A/c kept us up all night, every time it would click on it made some kind of rattling noise like paper was stuck in the vent. If you don’t mind some inconveniences and want to be downtown for a reasonable price, this is a good place to stay. The staff are friendly and there’s history here, literally.

Great location. Rooms are quite large but tired. Gym is an afterthought. The entire food and beverage offering needs a rethink.

Staff was really friendly and they held our bags in the storage so i would not have to carry them till i ate lunch and came back with the car! Rooms amd all in all was amazing!
