We very much enjoyed our stay here. I was a little nervous when booking because there was not a photo of the exterior. I was pleased to pull up and see that it is a beautiful three story stone building on a tree lined street. The property was spacious and clean, and the master bed was very comfortable. We appreciated that the host provided a coffee maker with both drip and K cup options as well as a French press and frother (we love coffee!).

It’s only taken a moment to write this review because we have been busy since we got back, but I wanted to take the time to say how AMAZING Sam, our hostess, and her brother Simon were!! They were super responsive throughout the trip and the place was so cute and comfortable! It was me and 4 of my grown children, and there was more than enough room, the boys each had a bed and my daughter and I shared a bed, but the living room could have comfortably slept another person! The home was fully furnished with pretty much one of every kind of utensil you could imagine, plenty of pots and pans, coffee maker, beautiful appliances and the bathrooms even had complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Not one detail was left out. I would recommend this unit 1000% and we do plan to return to Chicago and will be renting here again!

The apartment was very clean, easy to check in, then very convenient to the bus route. Host was incredibly sweet and very responsive to messages. She even brought us a local favorite treat on our third day.

Stayed here for a work event at the convention center nearby, which was a very convenient location! Communication was amazing with the host and they were so helpful! The difficulty was the stairs, but they were helpful with allowing us to store luggage downstairs as needed. Overall super happy to stay at this location ! Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay on our getaway weekend to Chicago. The unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The 4 beds easily accommodate 6 adults. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and we even enjoyed some Duke Ellington on vinyl. The bus stop right across the street was an easy way to get downtown, and the street is quiet. We enjoyed walking to the lake across the 35th St pedestrian bridge. Responsive host. Stairs are steep up to the third floor, so not the best place if stairs are challenging for you. All in all a lovely, peaceful place convenient to everything.

Convenient location, roomy

Everything was very clean, entire unit was very spacious and the hosts were great! Located a short 10 min drive from Millenium park, soldier stadium, etc. Neighborhood had some renovations going on but was quiet with easy parking. Would book again!!!

Long weekend stay for the Chicago marathon

The location was a great base of operations for our Spring Break visit. The owner communicated with us, and the check in/out process was simple. The wi-fi was a bit slow, but I wasn't there to game or stream video, so I don't count that as a real negative. The rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. The stairs were narrow as noted in other reviews, but they weren't a big problem for me or my kids.

Nice spot in north Bronzeville

This apartment was perfect for our friend group for a weekend in Chicago. It is about 10-20 minutes from downtown depending on traffic. The house included most basic amenities and was in a fairly quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location for McCormick Place trade show

The proximity to McCormick Place and grocery stores was perfect for our first time exhibiting. The convenient, free on-street parking made coming & going a breeze. Samanta was very kind and helpful; giving restaurant suggestions for the area. It was also fantastic to receive a text response saying we didn't need to take out trash or strip beds because, "You are our guests". Our trip went better than I could have ever expected in part due to this convenient, reasonably priced property.

The property is very nice, comfortable - especially the beds. The host contacted me when I had some questions. ...worked with me when needed...was gracious and welcomed us... The place is very clean with nice amenities. The stairs to the 3rd floor are steep and winding. That should be stated in the description...Our group could climb them...but one person who was originally planning on being with us would not have been able to handle them.

Family trip to Chicago

What a wonderful place to stay while in Chicago. Neighbors in the building were friendly and welcomed us to chicago when we met them in the hall. Apartment was up to date, clean and well furnished with everything we needed. We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was near a bus line and walking distance to the green line rail to pop downtown. There are several flights of stairs to the apartment but it wasnt a bother in all honesty. We parked on the street and didnt have any concern about our vehicles safety. Host was nice, prompt and so helpful when we forgot something after we left and had to go back. Absolutely will stay here again if ever in Chicago.

We enjoyed our stay. Located on the third floor of the townhome, the 3 bed 2 bath apartment was exactly what we needed for our group trip. The in-unit washer dryer was a huge plus. The host was so nice & made herself available to us for whatever we may have needed!
