This place is nice and roomy and the owner had incredible communication and made the check in process quick and simple. The area is decent and for people without cars the metro is a 10-15 minute walk. Would definitely Recommend this place.
My friends and I stsyed with Alma for a Girl's Weekend. Our stay was comfortable and Alma was there for everything we needed. She was very accommodating. The listing was the perfect place to come to after a long day of exploring Chicago.
The property was clean. The house was very responsive and nice. However, the location is a little skeptical people from out of town would have no idea until they get there like myself.
Great unit! Spacious and clean. We were able to have the best family mini vacay sharing tons of laughs and memories.
I believe it is family owned, which is a bonus for us. We even crossed paths with the grandmother who was very kind and accommodating.
The only downside was that the neighborhood looked a bit rough in the harsh light of day. However, we only encountered polite neighbors and an adorable doggo next door.

Beware
The only positive is that Alma, the owner, was very easy to get in touch with & responded very quickly. The property is in a VERY sketchy location. Afraid for our kids. It’s says “no smoking”, but as soon as you enter the property that’s all you smell. They tried to cover it up with perfume or air freshener spray (Reminded me of my grandma’s place). Had to wash all of our clothes, bags & pillows when we returned due to the smoke smell. Bed near the kitchen was dirty. Hair & lipstick stains in & on the sheets. Towels in bathroom had hair on them. Kitchen island was damaged & leaning badly. Tried to use the garage to park one of our 2 cars late on a Sat night, but unable to access it because another car was parked down the middle of it. Highly recommend finding another location to use.
This property was very nice., Host was very accommodating and let us check in early so we didnt need to haul our luggage around with us for hours. My only issue was the not the host fault, but the location is not best area. Probably the cost was so reasonable.
Its a really nice apartment and the check in and checkout were really easy. However the area is not very nice. STAY AWAY FROM THE MCDONALD'S Had kids doing fireworkds in the night and just alot of foot trafic outside . The place is great, just not so much the area
I had a great time. There were a few hick ups along the way, however the property manager was easy to get a hold of, she responded back very quickly and helped with whatever i needed.
The house was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We had some issues getting in the front door and the code actually opened both the upstairs and downstairs units which resulted in us walking into the wrong unit with other peoples stuff in there. We had issues with the WiFi and never could get connected. The unit itself was fine for our stay.
Everything was as advertised. Neighbors with dogs barking in the night and car honking/other outside elements can be disruptive if you're a light sleeper. Very quick and fast communication with host even at 2am. Would recommend.
Our family stayed for a corporate training and we had a great experience. The neighborhood wasn't the best but we felt very secure with having a garage to use. Very thankful for the quick communication! from the p
The appartement was okay, well equipped, mostly clean. But there is a problem with mice. We did not feel safe because there were strange people in the neighborhood. The house is badly soundproofed, and you can hear everything outside and inside the house.
The people that was suppose to come with me didn’t show up so I made the best of my trip by myself. Overall I really enjoyed the home I just didn’t think the neighborhood was the best.

Accommodating property manager, through several challenges
Though we had several concerns, the property manager was very available and accommodating. The area has a lot of night time activity, had we not had access to the garage we might not have stayed. There was a smell to the unit and additional cleaning needed when we arrived, as well as a missing remote and a water filter that I replaced in the fridge. The hardest part for us was sleeping due to the noise heard from the streets and upstairs. We communicated all of our concerns and Alma addressed most of them.
