Large Penthouse, Great Location

Had a great time visiting Chicago and the location is perfect - close to everything. My husband and I walked everywhere. The place is clean and the owners responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

Terrific Location!

This is our 2nd stay at Grand Plaza. The location is central to many attractions within walking distance. You cant beat the city and lake view from the 52nd floor! The condo itself was well stocked, even with cotton balls and Q-tips!

The apartment was exactly as described. We enjoyed the amenities on the 9th floor, including the free lattes in the morning. View was amazing and the location was perfect. The fireplace was a nice touch for chilly Chicago days. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you!

Family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the penthouse. The views are incredible and the apartment was well-appointed with everything we needed. We did laundry halfway through our stay and went home with some clean clothes. My husband and I both enjoyed the soaking tub. The only downsides were that the bed and pillows were quite firm for us and the sauna wasn’t working properly during our visit. Traveling with a toddler can be a real challenge but the apartment helped greatly.

Christmas Holiday in Chicago

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The owners explained the process and all went smoothly. The views from the Penthouse were spectacular. We loved the ambiance with the easy to operate fireplace. The location was the best! Very safe and was very convenient having the grocery store right next to bldg. We would love to stay here again if ever visiting Chicago.

Great location and view

We had an absolutely amazing stay on the 52nd floor of this condo in downtown Chicago! The view of the city and lake was breathtaking, especially during the air and water show—we had front-row seats to the Blue Angels buzzing the skyline. The unit was exactly as described—clean, well-stocked, and super comfortable. The building amenities were top-notch; we spent a ton of time relaxing by the pool. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we can't wait to come back!

Great little get away

We stayed at this rental 10 years ago and liked it so much that we looked it up and stayed here again recently. Clean and well stocked. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Doorman was friendly and helpful. Great location for walking and ubering to many places. We hope to bring our kids next time and stay in one of the owners larger units.

Chicago Spring Break

The condo was a perfect home base for our family of 4 on Spring Break in Chicago. It was a beautiful view from the floor-to-ceiling windows both during the daytime and at night! The location was awesome - in the heart of downtown, and right above a grocery store. The condo was fully equipped with everything we possibly needed. It was clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again next time!!

Amazing!

The Penthouses on Grand are amazing! The property amenities are great! The pool area is awesome! The outdoor areas are great! The workout facility is fantastic! But the views....OMG...the views are simply the best! I can't recommend this property highly enough ! The location is great, as it is a short walk to the river and all the hotspots around downtown. Its right on the Redline, so baseball parks are quick. We just had a such a great time in Chicago b/c we stayed here. TOTAL 5-STAR PLACE!!!

Best views of the city!!

This property was as spectacular as the website said! The views were absolutely amazing! The doorman on shift was always helpful and friendly! So convenient to the Jewel next door! We were in walking distance to everything that we wanted to do in the city. Perfect location!! The penthouse was stocked with all the essentials! So impressed! Comfortable, roomy, and absolutely perfect! Did I mention perfect? Simply was. We will be back for sure!

Nice building,great location

This building has great amenities and great location. And the unit has great views. However there were a couple of things that were substandard for the price and quality of building and location: the unit has carpet throughout and it’s really dirty. Also the towels were cheap Walmart towels. Also note that the bed is a queen (which is how it’s advertised). But plenty of room for a king bed. And would be expected for a “penthouse”. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.

Fantastic stay

Best Chicago vacation! Great walkable location, red line subway right at the corner connects to all elevated “L” lines in the downtown Loop tracks, walk to Magnificent Mile and 360 bldg. The subway was safe and fun for me and my teenage girls to experience- a must do. It was important to have a full kitchen to save on eating out 3 times a day, fantastic High Floor views, parking in bldg and knowledgeable tips from the host to plan our stay. We parked and walked or took the subway/“L” to avoid parking fees at destinations. Bldg parking was easy and convent, safe location, clean, well stocked needed items in bath, laundry and kitchen, grocery store at corner, all a + + +. The condo was open, airy, inviting, and the glow of a fire place was another plus. We did the river boat tour at dark with the city a glow in January! So Beautiful! So Much Fun! A huge THANK YOU to the HOSTS for this wonderful experience and memory for my family.
