"it’s really worn down , lots of shady folks hanging around. came out the next morning to a nasty note on my car threatening to tow it said it was not in a parking spot. the lines on the ground are worn out. we thought we parked in a handicapped area spot according to sign on the wall and we were leaving someone came out of the office yelling and threatening us a about towing us . don’t stay here if "
"I wish I could have stayed more than one night (family medical emergency shortened a longer stay). Charles greeted me as soon as I arrived. Lovely historic interior. My room (Asia room) was done in maroon wallpaper. Spacious and comforting. The bed was very very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was comforting to the belly and heart. Sourdough bread is made fresh on premises. Best part? The proprietor, Charles. Kind considerate honest compassionate excellent conversationalist. Cannot wait to come back for a more leisurely stay.
The only downside is that there’s ambient noise. A busy fire station is nearby and there are train tracks in the area. Fear not! My room was equipped with ease plus and a white noise machine. "
Completely restored 1885 Queen Ann style home located next to the temple lot.
10/10 Excellent
"Property was great for our purposes, only had one question at check in and host was very friendly and helpful. Location was great to bounce between KC, Lee's Summit & Independence"
