"We arrived at the hotel very late, to a friend of Welcome and the offer of room service for some drinks, as the hotel didn’t have a bar The staff kindly helped us to get our bags to our room which is very spacious and clean, although a little bit tired in decoration. However the excellent location of the hotel in the historic centre overlooking the river more than made up for the decor. A pleasant buffet breakfast was included in the price. All of the staff were extremely helpful & friendly. I would happily stay there again "

"Exceptional views from this property. The room was for 4. It had a rustic farm house vibe. Unfortunately there was mold in the bathroom and a nest of spiders in the beams above the bed (which my husband was happy to sleep under - so we ignored). There is no noise insulation between floors and you can hear other guests above you, but everyone was respectful and noise minimal. The spare blankets in the cupboard needed a wash and were unusable. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable. The infinity pool was great and generally quiet creating a relaxing atmosphere. You need a car if you stay in one of the annexes otherwise you would have to walk up a hill. We had access to a balcony and a common area. The kitchen was accessible but you are not allowed to use unless you book an apartment.) Breakfast was very good and the terrace is amazing. We only had interaction with two staff members. One was lovely, friendly and helpful. The other was the complete opposite, which ruined some of the shine. Overall lovely place to stay, fantastic grounds and we will definitely try and visit again!"

"Night receptionist grumpy, rest of staff where ok. Able to store luggage when arrived early, very close to station and the tower. Good price and had good sleep, coffee good at breakfast"

"Property itself was very good. Lovely and immaculate room. Great breakfast choices. Nice staff, helpful in getting airport taxi. Surrounding area a bit sketchy but mostly because of unclean conditions. "

"Friendly staff nice and clean and perfect for a few days room was a good size for what you’re paying we used Taxis to get around Hotel dealt with it and always there with in five minutes.overall a nice place to stay we enjoyed and breakfast was great to something for everyone."
