The hotel is very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. It has everything you need. The beach is about 10 steps away. The loungers are very comfortable. It's free of sargassum, as the personal cleans every day very early.

The property was well maintained, aesthetically pleasing as well. Staff are polite and friendly. My only complaint is that it it can get noisy early in the morning and at night, you can hear the noises of guest outside the room and guests going up to the upper floors.

I really enjoy this hotel. Literally, it’s two steps and you are walking on the white sand beaches of Mahahual. Very peaceful. The room was small, the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended.

Make sure everything in room works before staying

The Hotel and Restuarant are beautiful, but the service was terrible. The room was very nice, but the toilet leaked from the bottom, staining our clothes with soiled water. When we were checking out, the staff refused to allow us to leave until they inspected the room to make sure we didn't steal towels and were rude. Food is good both rooms are overpriced. Also, no staff smiles!

Great location on the beach, nice area for walking. Cute tourist shops nearby, with some really good restaurants! The room we had was tiny, not in great shape. You would have to book a family room to get a more normal sized room. Not a big deal for a night, but not very comfortable

We were greeted with drinks upon arrival and the hotel and rooms were clean and stocked with water. The ambiance was nice but. The general areas could have used some updates. The restaurant was out of items on the menu and didn’t make the drinks correctly. But, the food we ordered tasted good. The beach area was very nice. I loved the swings just needed to clean the algae underneath. The beach area at night needed lights, the other hotels on the beach had lights. Overall, the stay was nice.

For the high price of this hotel we expected more. the hotel is lacking in customer service, room comfort, as well as cleanliness of the washrooms. The restaurant and beach club were great and the staff working them were very helpful. Food and drink at the restaurant was 10/10, the coffee was also excellent. But the beach club and restaurant are separate from the hotel. We thought the bed in our room was hard and made for a bad sleep. Also only a bed sheet is provided, no duvet, just a sheet, which was strange. The towels for the beach are simple travel towels that smelled. The bathroom had a sewer smell the entire time. Also be mindful of the time of year you visit Mahahual if it’s high cruise ship season be aware that the beach and town will be flooded with cruise ship tourists during the day. The hotel is central on the strip and there are many great restaurants nearby. Long story short, I would choose another hotel for my next stay in Mahahual.
