Cheshire Escapes presents The Botanical Holiday. Full of personality and botanical-inspired details, the house offers a welcoming blend of period charm and modern convenience.

The cosy living room is centred around a beautiful Victorian fireplace, with comfortable seating and a Smart TV creating an inviting space to relax after a day exploring Chester.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area makes it easy to cook, eat and spend time together. The kitchen is fully equipped with a double oven, induction hob, microwave and tea and coffee-making facilities.
A downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash basin provides additional convenience, particularly for families and larger groups.

Bedrooms & Bathroom
Upstairs, there are three comfortable bedrooms designed to suit families and groups.
The master bedroom features a spacious super king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a king-size bed.
The third bedroom has a single bed, making it ideal for a child or solo guest.
All beds are prepared with quality hypoallergenic linen to help ensure a comfortable night`s sleep.
The family bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, WC and wash basin.

Within walking distance is a fantastic green space featuring tennis courts, play areas, and a popular splash water area that is free to visit during the summer months. Nearby, the charming hand-pulled ferry crosses the River Dee to The Meadows in Handbridge, where you can enjoy scenic riverside walks and a variety of cafés and restaurants.

The property benefits from private driveway parking with space for one vehicle, providing convenient and stress-free access throughout your stay.

The property is in a peaceful, family-friendly area of Chester, close to green spaces and the city centre. A 10–15 minute walk leads to Sandy Lane with a children’s play area and summer splash park. Nearby, a hand-pulled ferry crosses the River Dee to The Meadows and Grosvenor Park. Local shops, cafés, and Dee Banks riverside walks are all close by, with Chester’s historic centre just a short walk or drive away.

If you have time, please water our plants. We absolutely love keeping our gardens colourful and beautiful, however, we do not want to interupt your stay for maintenance. If you can just give us a drop of water we can keep our flowers blooming all year long!

For stays of more than 14 consecutive nights, a mandatory mid-stay clean is required. This service helps ensure the property remains fresh, hygienic, and well-maintained throughout longer stays.
The cost of the mandatory mid-stay clean is £120, which includes general cleaning, fresh bed linen, and replacement towels.
Guests will be contacted in advance to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for the mid-stay clean.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee of £20 per dog per stay. Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to bring your furry friend and kindly ensure they are supervised and that any pet waste is disposed of appropriately. The rear garden is not fully enclosed, so we advise that they are not left unattended while outside.

Our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and must be approved in advance. Any early arrival or delayed departure outside the standard times will incur an additional hourly rate, which will be invoiced accordingly.

Please be quiet during 23:00 to 07:00 to respect the neighbours.
Please keep the noise to a minimum between the hours of 11pm and 7am to respect the neighbours.

Please ensure the key is placed back in the lockbox whenever you are not in the property or on departure.
Failure to do so may result in us being unable to access the property, and a locksmith fee will be charged.

No smoking in the property.

Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:

▪ A contract between you and the owner will come into existence when the deposit or full payment is received, and a booking confirmation is issued showing the confirmed holiday dates.
▪ The deposit/full payment must be paid at the time of booking being placed.
▪ The contract binds you (the lead booker) & all the members of the party who are part of the booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking.
▪ We require the names, ages, and contact details of all guests.
▪ A night’s stay will be taken as a deposit is payable at the time of booking.
▪ Bookings made less than sixty days before your arrival date must be paid in full, plus the £X refundable damage deposit (if requested).
▪ All cancellations must be notified in writing and once received we will confirm the cancellation.
▪ The customer remains liable for a percentage of the booking cost when a cancellation is received, as detailed below:

If we are successful in getting a replacement booking, we will refund the total amount paid less a 5% booking fee and any difference in price between your original and the replacement booking.
▪ We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
▪ If your booking is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made to us for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
▪ If our property must close due to government restrictions or your address is put into local/regional lockdown for your holiday dates and you are unable to travel, you will be refunded in full.
▪ The maximum number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the listed maximum persons and only those listed on the booking form can occupy the property. If you wish to invite additional visitors to visit you during your stay, please ask us first.
▪ Please be advised that no extra overnight visitors are allowed to stay at the property.
▪ Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under twenty-one years of age.
▪ The owner reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
