Great location for exploring Chester

Had a lovely stay with good restaurant recommendations from Terri. The walks into town from the property were lovely and convenient, If lazy or in the case of inclement weather there is a bus service to town and back with stops conveniently located outside of the property,

Lovely sunny weekend in Chester

Great location for a weekend spent between Chester’s parks, the beach in Prestatyn and long warm evenings sat out in the garden. Perfect house for our large group. Terri was a very welcoming host.

Chester Weekend

The house is well situated, a leisurely 15 minute walk into Chester. A spacious house with every bedroom en-suite, a comfortable living room and dining room. However, all the bedrooms have a very tired air, towels very worn and had a unfresh feel. Garden unkept, dirty ashtray and litter, all a bit overgrown with limited shabby outdoor furnishings. No bottle recycling facilities. Expected more for the price paid. Would not return.

Excellent, clean and wonderful house

The house was huge and plenty of room for everyone to eat, relax, play games or chat. The house was lovely and clean and the kitchen had everything you needed for a large group, which was refreshing. The Aga took some working out but it was fine once we used it a few times. Terri was a fabulous host and gave us a brilliant tour when we arrived and was there to wave us off. We were allowed a late check out which helps when packing up a house full of people! Chester was a beautiful old town full of historic sites to visit and the weather helped as it was great for the time of year. The shops, bars and restaurants were beyond reproach, a large selection of everything you could wish for. The rooms were a great size and all en-suite - another added bonus. The beds were all comfortable and showers great. Two minor things that were a little disappointing, were there was just one small TV which was in the 'morning room' downstairs and nothing in the lounge or bedrooms. If the kids hadn't bought their computers they would have been a little stuck on days in. The second is no door in the downstairs bedroom bathroom; the extra privacy would have been appreciated. All in all, a fabulous house, great location (15 minute walk to nearest shops/pubs) and brilliant host!

Thoroughkoly enjoyed our visit. Terry was always helpful.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Easy walking distance into town for younger members of the family. Basement kitchemn and dining room tricky for the lesss agile!

Beautiful house, great location.

We had an amazing weekend in this beautiful house, it was perfect for our family get together! lots of space inside and out, great garden/ sitting area, very clean and well equipped, lots of lovely personal touches. loved the “Aga” it was fantastic!lovely park nearby where we took a set of boules and had a game of rounders and a nice chat with the locals😀. The owner Terri was lovely, she showed us around the house when we arrived and gave us lots of information and also was kind enough to research restaurants and Chinese takeaways. We all had fantastic weekend. The only negative is that we had to leave☹️ and that we haven’t got an Aga at home, thankyou Terri for letting us stay in your wonderful home, we would certainly recommend it and would certainly stay again!😀x

The property was perfect for our weekend away at the races.

Excellent hospitality and the property was perfect for everything we needed. The location was ideal for the races and all of our activities. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Girls Weekend.

Amazing house. perfect location for what we needed it for! Only complain is that in the main bedroom there were a couple of spots of blood on the bedding as we went to bed on the first night. Also on the house listing it said there was hairdryers in every room. we only found one in the main room. But that was fine as a couple of the girls brought their own hairdryer. Over all a perfect stay with lots of space. Thank you Lauren x.

Great house for a large group

Large house in a good location and the owner was a great host, couple of small issues with toliet doors not having locks on them and the nearest pub was 20min walk.

Perfect for a sizeable family weekend

Warm welcome by Terri, the owner, and the house was very comfortable. An ideal location near the City Centre with plenty of space for all of us. Particularly liked the large dining room where we spent a lot of time chatting over the meals. We all had a a thoroughly enjoyable time.
