The house was huge and plenty of room for everyone to eat, relax, play games or chat. The house was lovely and clean and the kitchen had everything you needed for a large group, which was refreshing. The Aga took some working out but it was fine once we used it a few times. Terri was a fabulous host and gave us a brilliant tour when we arrived and was there to wave us off. We were allowed a late check out which helps when packing up a house full of people! Chester was a beautiful old town full of historic sites to visit and the weather helped as it was great for the time of year. The shops, bars and restaurants were beyond reproach, a large selection of everything you could wish for.
The rooms were a great size and all en-suite - another added bonus. The beds were all comfortable and showers great.
Two minor things that were a little disappointing, were there was just one small TV which was in the 'morning room' downstairs and nothing in the lounge or bedrooms. If the kids hadn't bought their computers they would have been a little stuck on days in. The second is no door in the downstairs bedroom bathroom; the extra privacy would have been appreciated.
All in all, a fabulous house, great location (15 minute walk to nearest shops/pubs) and brilliant host!
