Stoney Hollow Farm Cabin
Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life there is a cabin, bordered on two sides by rushing creeks, and situated in the middle of a working, family-owned, organic fruit and vegetable farm. Disconnected from the internet, it's the perfect place for adults to enjoy a digital detox and the perfect opportunity to commune with nature and each other. The house is furnished with antiques, most of which are available for purchase. From the covered wrap-around porch you can enjoy your coffee while watching the farm come to life each morning, relax while the afternoon sun glistens on the pond, or take in a night cap while listening to the sounds of cicadas, crickets and the creek. Stroll the farm, shop in the farm store for fresh veggies, local gourmet foods, and food related antiques. When you're ready to venture out you'll find miles and miles of hiking, streams teaming with trout, beautiful Lake Santeetlah, several up-scale dining options with great views, and all kinds of local artisans making everything from cheese, honey and eggs to pottery, carving and weaving. Nearby, you can explore the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, ride the Tail of the Dragon, visit the Biltmore, explore the local food scene, or try a few of the local breweries in Asheville, learn more about Cherokee history at the Oconoluftee Indian Village, peruse the outlet shops in Pigeon Forge, and much, much more! Western North Carolina is a beautiful and diverse region with something for everyone! So book your cabin, take a deep breath, and prepare to fill your senses with all our mountains have to offer. Each season brings its own bounty and there is always something to do. (Please note that we do not allow children or pets.)

Very peaceful getaway ! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek ! Scott and Stephanie were wonderful host. The cabin was warm and cozy with a nice wood burning stove. The house was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay, Scott and Stephanie were great hosts, welcomed us to their cabin and had great communication. Clean and well stocked! We loved the location, right in the valley with wonderful views. Sports car accessible too! Thanks for sharing your cabin!
Great place to slow the pace! Family weekend to explore Western NC ... We genuinely enjoyed our time at the cabin with the rushing creek, rocking chairs, morning coffee and a visiting hummingbird. The whole family was thankful for the time together --- plenty of room for all. The added bonus of antiques and farm fresh vegetables was great! Planning to make a return visit!
I recently had an amazing stay at Stony Hollow Farm cabin in NC. The place was impeccably clean, cozy, and exuded a peaceful atmosphere. It provided the perfect escape from technology and the fast-paced life, allowing for quality time with family. Exactly what we needed for a rejuvenating getaway. Stony Hollow Farm exceeded expectations, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of hosts Scott and Stephanie. They made us feel truly welcome, enhancing our overall experience at this fantastic cabin retreat. Highly recommended!
We immediately commented on how nice it smelled when we walked in the door of the cabin and loved the streams on both sides of it. We have stayed in multiple places through this app, but i think we liked thsi 1 the best. It felt like home and we liked the privacy and solitude. There is no cell reception, so we bought a few games at the local DG. I haven't played chess since i was in middle school and re-learned how to play while we were there. My wife and I have even played a few more times since we got back home. Robbinsville/Tapoco is our favorite place in the mtns of NC, and are already talking about the next time we can get back up there to stay in this cabin again. Thank you to the owners for maintaining a clean and kept cabin.
This has become an annual "get together" for two of my old high school friends and myself. We live in three different parts of the country and get together here at this cabin and it could not be more perfect. Secluded, peaceful, beautiful mountains, babbling brooks and the cabin is spacious, comfortable and has everything we could want for our stay. The owners are accommodating and even have a store with home grown vegetables and antique type items for sale. Mornings we would sit on the deck, have coffee and watch the mountain fog roll into the valley and back out. Evenings sit around the fire pit and relax. If you can't decide where to stay between the many choices, you will not go wrong with this one.
This was a place that me and two of my best friends from High school who haven't seen each other in 40 years decided to reconnect. It was secluded, beautiful, serene... Just a perfect setting. The cabin was rustic but plentiful. The owners were charming and friendly and willing to communicate anytime we had a question. The farm store was fascinating go through. Bottom line if you want to get away, get some fresh air, get offline this is the perfect location. You can definitely do worse and probably will if you go anywhere else. We are already talking about making it an annual visit.
Such an amazing experience. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our family. Perfect distance to many cities to visit and trails to hike. I recommend this property for anyone wanting to escape day-to-day “noise”.
This is the 4th time we've stayed in the cabin and we continue to enjoy it. We love the peaceful setting while being a short drive back to Robbinsville.
We love staying here when we're in the area. The house is great, and Scott is a wonderful and accommodating host. The setting is very picturesque and the bubbling creek is relaxing. Highly recommended!
Reserved this beautiful place with two friends and could not be any happier about our decision. A beautiful place, a beautiful location, and wonderful hospitality. As an additional bonus, fresh garden vegetables for purchase. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
We loved our stay, The cabin was clean; well equipped. The setting was drop dead gorgeous. I want to stay there in the Fall. Owners were very accessible and friendly and their working farm with fresh flowers at the cabin were a welcoming touch. Would definitely stay again.
