We enjoyed a two night stay at this property. It is close to town, but it's so quiet you don't know it. The view is amazing! If we had to complain about something, it would be that the screened porch area needed to be cleaned. It wasn't a deal breaker for us as we didn't mind staying inside. Overall, we are satisfied with our decision to choose this property for our stay.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at this cabin. It is very private and quiet, perfect for a couples getaway. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The narrow steep road to the cabin was the only unexpected. A car that sits low to the ground might have a difficult time navigating the long driveway. Thankfully we were on a SUV. Definitely worth the drive.

Upon arrival we walked in and found a pile of unwashed linens, towels, rugs, beers cans, mop bucket. Floors not cleaned, toilette clearly unclean. Initially a few carpenter ants on the kitchen counter and 3 in the bedroom. We attempted to call Beau and Bob as well as email. While waiting for a response, the ants got worse! Climbing the walls, swarming in the foyer, bedroom and lr. Still no contact from Bob, Beau, Buffalo Rentals ...so we left afer driving 4 hours to get there. As I write this still have not been contacted by any party.

On our initial arrival, the property seemed nice. The floors clean, bed made, counter tops clean. Upon going to bed and unpacking, the linens and towels smelled musty, bought detergent and had to re-wash all linens to be able to enjoy our stay and be comfortable. The firewood was wet and unusable, again, had to go buy firestarter logs to have a fire and keep warm. Killed over 20 stink bugs, power on the porch was unavailable, using it just popped the circuit breaker over and over. The ceiling fans and A/C filter were filthy. There's more, but we'll let it go. Concerns sent to owner with no apology or resolve. Not recommended if you have environmental allergies.

My wife and I had a wonderful time for the 2nd year at this cabin. As before the place was immaculate, roomy, very clean, with amazing views. Loved the fireplaces in both the bedroom and family room. The screen in porch was an added plus. Liked that there were no other cabins we could see. It was easy to get to Bryson City and other nearby towns. The communication from both the owner and rental company was excellent. Can't say enough good things about it. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. We will be back!

10/10

We loved everything about this place.. the privacy, the quiet/peace, being surrounded by mountains and it’s an easy distance to town! The cabin itself had everything we needed and more. It’s cozy but roomy. It smells like fresh wood/cedar all through the house. Very clean and well kept. The drive way is a little tricky- we were able to follow the GPS for most of the trip. Once we got to the Cabin entrance we followed the directions sent to us— once you see the sign for “82” just follow the arrows.. try to arrive during the day if you can, easier to see/get your bearings. Drive carefully, it was wet for us so a little slippery on the steep parts but we had a 4WD vehicle and managed just fine.

Love the cabin .. very private & peaceful. This was our 2nd time staying here..celebrated our 33rd anniversary. We love the woodburning fireplace but was sad to see that the woodshed was knocked down..my husband was able to find some old pieces of firewood across from the shed. Also..we would recommend 4-wheel drive...we had a hard time getting out of the driveway. We will definitely be back.

Wife and I enjoyed the cabin and the view. Interior was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was difficult to find due to minor mistake in directions and the road is very narrow and covered in leaves this time of year so the driver needs to be very diligent going up the mountain and down. Traveling the long narrow drive was certainly challenging after dark at this time of year (Oct. 16-19) but the view and the colors were what we went for and we were not disappointed!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The fall views of the Smokey mountains were breathtaking. Cabin was very comfortable and cozy, highly recommend! The screened in porch was one of our favorite spots.

This location is fantastic for a couple's getaway. The cabin is beautiful and well-appointed. It is secluded, yet convenient to Bryson City. There's a fantastic view. It is difficult to find in the dark, so keep that in mind; it is not yet on GPS as of 10/2022. The managing company is really oblivious to any specific questions you might have about the cabin or locale, but with enough prodding they'll put you in touch with the local caretaker.

A quaint little cabin that is a beautiful romantic getaway for just the two of you. The spot is very secluded, so privacy is without question. The view off the back porch is simply beautiful.

Beautifully decorated cabin. Just perfect for us. Private, yet close to town. Wonderful views from the large, screened back porch. We ate several meals and watched college football on the porch while enjoying nature at the same time. Would love to stay there again!

We have stayed in the Buffalo Trace Cabin several times. This time we stayed for two weeks, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It has been a little slice of heaven for us, and we plan to return next year.

Cabin is very secluded on the side of a mountain but still close to Bryson City. Beautiful view from the porch. Probably want a vehicle with good ground clearance to get to the property. Would love to go back some day.

This cabin was the perfect recipe for our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in porch and the views. My only complaint is we couldn't stay longer.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Trace Cabin for two nights. The cabin was clean, well-appointed, peaceful, and had beautiful views. It is conveniently located a few minutes from Bryson City and less than 30 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Smoky Mountain NP. We found the cabin easily by reading the directions that were sent to us beforehand. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it to anyone I know.

We have discussed our issues with the contact person and a list of our issues have bee sent to him by email. The cabin was nice and the views were beautiful when it wasn't raining(heavy downpours and power outage). Our problems were with the cleanliness and the amenities which again were emailed to the contact person.

The property was extremely comfortable and quiet. It was an easy drive to most places in the National Park and avoided the crowds on the Gatlinburg side of the Park. The road up to the property was initially a little intimidating but we managed with no problem with our minivan. We found several great places to eat in Bryson City. We made sure to be back in time to watch the sunset from the back deck every evening.
